Machine is very clean. I don't think the fan is too dirty. Any possible
problem?
P.S. I had a T43 that broke a couple months beyond 3yr warranty. Hopefully
history doesn't repeat itself .. :p

Prevailing Wage里面用的job descriptions是 master+3yr 工作经验. 但问题是我没
有master学位, 三年Ph.D毕业直接工作的. 律师说我Ph.D的研究内容跟现在工作相关,
让以前导师出了一封信说我读Ph.D期间每周花在研究上的时间不少于40小时, 这样Ph.D
这三年就可以算上是full-time的工作经验了.所以一个Ph.D学位就就满足了Master+3yr
经验的要求. 总觉得不放心, 想让律师把job description改为: master+3yr 或者 Ph.
D. 不知道还有没有机会, 是不是PERM和Prevailing Wage的job description必须一样?

买的时候没有要 dealer的maintenance plan,
也知道自己换oil要钱,但还是不太清楚
Q1 自带的3yrs/ 36,000 到底包啥？ 确定不包括换机油是吧,
Q2 今天去另外一个离家近的dealer换第一次机油, 那家说full-service 290, 吓尿了
后来只要了oil change 和 tire rotation, $130。是不是就是按照手册来就行？手册
上说第一次就是机油和rotation,那没必要用那个full service？
Q3 自带的3yrs/ 36,000 warranty我看写得 不能在subaru authrized以外的地方修,
否则作废。那是不是就是说所有对车的动作，换机油这种必须在dealer做，否则作废？
我是这么理解，所以才来dealer换机油，要是能在其他地方就便宜了。
Q4 老看网上说3000mile一换机油，不知是按手册来还是按3000mile来？

30W 3yr total really is nothing. 10W/yr he can barely support one phd
student.
calculation:
assume your adviser's salary is 1W/month, 3 month summer pay: 3W, plus
overhead: ~5W
a phd student, altogether (stipend + tuition + overhead): usually > 5W
so 10W has already gone.
then what about travel (for conference), publication (could be expensive),
computer management fee (some department charge pretty good money to every
prof for this), and other misc costs?

网上提交9089时候当然不需要提交什么voe, audit时候不清楚. 但perm批准了,提交
140时候肯定需要提交voe. 并且voe里面要证明你的perm广告里面的skill
phd ra不要算. master+0好了. 最多audit recruiting,但dol不会置疑你的经验. 比
如如果算了master+3yr,最后dol不认可你这个3yr经验. 你广告都白打了,还得彻底从头
来.
master+0yr, ms(phd preferred)+0还是等同于ms+0year, 而且容易招audit.
如果没打广告,至少要等2个多月吧. |

其实楼主是把perm中最低要求advance degree和最低要求bachelor定义为两个完全不相
干，独立的概念。
举个很简单的例子就可以推翻这个观点。这种例子网上比比皆是。
Perm 工作描述 bachelor + 3yrs为 eb3
Perm 工作描述 bachelor + 5yrs 为eb2,因为bachelor + 5yrs equivalent to
advance degree
这也是大部分人eb3升eb2的基础，任何律师都不会否认这个问题。
那么这么来看eb2和eb3是不是包含关系呢？bachelor +5yrs包含bachelor +3yrs么？ |
