发帖数: 2792 | 2 关于absolutist monarchy，我的理解是应该涉及百年战争对英国法国两个国家的塑造
，还应该加上玫瑰战争。
百年战争前，基本是封建关系盛行，所以英格兰国王占的法国领土是法王的7倍，但到
战争后期，法兰西的民族概念开始诞生，封建关系也就开始瓦解了。玫瑰战争又让英格
兰大贵族势力大幅度削弱，所以君主专制的拦路石就被搬走了。
关于territorial sovereignty，你说17世纪中叶主要说的是1648的维斯特法利亚条约
吧，但说才出现值得商榷，100多年前亨利第八的离婚案在一定程度上就体现了
territorial sovereignty。当然territorial sovereignty不能说是离婚案的目的，但客观
上英格兰的主权就此体现。
你说欧洲人抵制state centralization我理解，但农民起义为什么以此为目的就不知道
了，请教！

发帖数: 7244 | 3 简单的说，如果想产生中国意义上的王朝更替，必须有两个要素，第一是 absolutist
monarchy；第二是 territorial sovereignty，前者在欧洲是十七世纪初才出现的，后
者在欧洲是十七世纪中叶才产生，比中国类似的体制晚了将近2000年，而 absolutist
monarchy 在十八世纪末就开始被废除了，所以加起来也就这一百多年的时间，所以你不
可能观测到推翻王朝的农民起义（中国两千多年的历史中，才观测到几次？）
再此之前农民起义，主要是两个目的，一个是抵 serfdom 二是抵制 state centraliza
tion；起义的本身就是为了阻止一个 centralized 的王朝出现，如果这样的王朝都没有
出现，又如何推翻呢？ |

义。这两个要素，在某种程度上，其实说得都是教廷和世俗势力的博弈。
顺便举个反例哈：Galician slaughter
这次波兰大起义，一方面，如你所说，是反对农奴制的；但另一方面，恰恰是反对波兰
独立的。当然了，可以 argue 说，农民被奥地利给忽悠和利用了。

二十世纪是一个两极分化的极端世纪。在一些国家，自由民主得到建立和巩固；在
另一些国家，专制主义登峰造极。第一次世界大战拖垮了沙俄帝国，并于1917年建立了
第一个极权国家——苏联。1929年经济大萧条之后，法西斯几乎同时在欧洲大陆和日本
崛起，再次把世界带入大战的深渊。二战结束后，苏联控制或影响下的中东欧、古巴、
中国、朝鲜等国组成的“社会主义阵营”先后建立了极权体制，为这些国家的人民带来
了深重灾难。1966年在中国爆发的“文革”就是极权体制肆虐的后果之一，至今正好是

The collapse of the Ming Dynasty was a protracted affair, its roots
beginning as early as 1600 with the emergence of the Manchu under Nurhaci.

例；
立长不立贤差点儿导致亡国的，譬如西汉、西晋；
立贤不立长反而长治久安的，譬如东汉明帝（光武帝的嫡长子刘彊被废），汉
和帝（皇后无子，章帝废和帝兄刘庆，另立和帝为太子），极端的是唐太宗；
废长立幼出乱子的当然更多，曹操最后下决心里曹丕，就是因为贾诩的一句“
思袁本初、刘景升父子也”，此二人都是废长立幼惹的麻烦。
真正最优最最稳定的立储方式是雍正发明的“密建皇储”，结果没用几次，革
命了 -_-
中国和欧洲日本的不同之处是皇权一直都很大，所以争抢的厉害；欧洲在有实
权的 absolutist 君主时期，王位继承也争得如火如荼，西班牙王位继承问题
变成一场真正意义的世界大战，打了十三年，从欧洲打到北美。。。
