老婆昨天突然说想买车，今天我们去 test drive 一下 audi A4，volvo S40 和
passat。先说价钱是 audi a4 > volvo s40 > passat。分别来说：
1. audi a4 开起来最稳，感觉比较厚重，但是内饰感觉比较 cheap，觉得 volkswagen
没有放很多心思在这辆高档车里的抵挡车上。还有手刹和放 drink 的那个托架距离很
近，所以很不好用。
2. volvo s40 的内饰最好，很简洁，感觉比 audi a4 好了不少。但是车开起来比
audi a4 稍微飘一点，内部空间好像也要小一些。总起来说，感觉挺不错的。
3. passat 当然是最宽敞的，另外还有很多比较适用的小功能（不过说实话，功能多也
更容易出毛病，呵呵）。内饰一般般，里面车门的把手十足的 plastic，让人不爽。

我这个暑期选了一门anatomy and physiology，原计划是借暑期专攻这门公认比较难课
程。没想到大概是暑期faculty人手不够，另外两个section还是学校的faculty教，学
校从外面找了个医生作为adjuct professor教我这个section。
此人教学水平以及方法，属于仁者见仁智者见智，我也就不抱怨了。最主要的问题是，
他已明确说了不会grade on curve。根据前几次考试，quiz结果看（他会公布最高分，
以及每个分数段的人数），估计没有人能拿A, 全班平均大概是C，D之间。而据我所知
，另外两个section的老师是grade on curve的，那样对我们这个section的学生是不公
平的。因为我想将来申请医学院或者药学院， 所以分数看得比较重。
请问这种情况我作为学生能否向depatrtment chair, 或者dean去complain。我觉得比
较公平， 自己也可以接受的做法是，按照另外两个section最后的成绩用近似的curve
给我们打分。

我是第一个跳出来说她的interaction发音是错误的，于是高妹就把interaction
放在她的video的第一个，然后她说词典的发音是错误的，有点死犟。现在又专
门发文说anatomy的发音，太过头了。高妹是才女，但是那不代表她什么都是对
的啊。
Jumbo在回文里问高妹，“高妹你最近常常和美国人喝酒吗？好奇的说。”

哈哈哈，我觉得真波就是那个意思。因为高妹说的其实是美国发音。
其实两种发音都是对的，发不发那个t都对。这几个词我们实验室经常用所以我碰巧
知道，其实就是英式英语和美式英语的差别而已。在美语里，n后面的t基本上发不出来
，因为他们发t 的音的时候送气不明显，所以发完n这个舌头音之后就发不出t了。我实
验室的三个老美在读interaction 和anatomy 这种词的时候都基本上不发那个t,但是两
印度博士后以及我都是发那个t的。不过我们互相都听得懂所以也不会去纠正对方。
中国大陆教的英语课，早期的是都是英式英语发音为标准的 (后期则改为美语为标准）
，这个版上的发考题毕业都比较早，所以大多都是学的英式英语出身的，所以和高妹有
认识上的差别吧。
下面这个连接里是剑桥字典收录的interaction发音标准，英语美语都列了，大家不妨
听听就知道了。

What is the level of the hearing impairment? Sounds like severe to profound.
If the kid's cochlear anatomy is intact and hearing nerve functions well,
he can receive a cochlear implant. With intensive rehabilitation after a
successful implantation, the kid can learn to hear and speak as normal
hearing peers. Let the heart-broken parents know there is hope.
Time is of the essence. The earlier the implantation is done, the better the

cardiothoracic surgeon. The prognosis is dependent on the details of
anatomy, which can only be evaluated in person. Based on what I read, the
survival after the surgery is quite high, but overall long term consequence
is significant.

Think about how you whistle. The shape of your lip and tongue change the

at the same time of open biopsy, unless the frozen sections were too
inclusive. but as long as a tumor can be determined from frozen and anatomy

了耳鼻喉科医生，医生建议做个脑部的MRI.做完后医生看过了报告后说脑部没什么异常
。 不知道有没有必要再找脑神经科的医生看一下？ 报告如下。小时侯得过鼻窦炎，出
国后就没什么症状了。平时有时候会有头疼，主要集中在脑门部位。喝杯咖啡，或者睡
一觉就没事了。

３）我原本是不打算做GD的，因为如果查出来有GD的话，是通过改善饮食来治疗的（一
般是refer你到registered dietian那里），很少有人得用insulin. 我吃东西很小心，
不吃糖（水果还是吃的）和四脚动物的肉， 所以不担心。结果在OB的坚持下，选择了
sugar level test, 半夜后不吃东西，第二天早上８点第一次抽血，回家后和平时一样
吃早饭，饭后２小时后抽第二次血。这样不用喝糖浆（glucose），也没有饿肚子。查
出来的结果离指标差远了。 |
