从Denali一路往北，一如既往的山路，只是风景已经比不上前面的好几天。虽然早上4
点半起床，又在公园里畅游了11个钟头，倒也不觉得疲惫。一路嚼着牛肉干和麻油馓子
，我们欢乐地奔向Fairbanks。
Fairbanks应该是阿拉斯加最北面的大一些的落脚点了。没到之前，我脑中的景象是这
样的：一两个加油站，三四条街，五六个饭店，千儿八百的人。事实大大出乎我的意料
，fairbanks居然也算是个有模有样的城市了，连锁快餐超市随处可见，想来基本生活
应该还算方便。这天晚上定了fairbanks东北方向的一个Chena Hot Spring Resort，于
是绕过城区，拐到chena hot spring road上。方向盘刚刚扶正，眼见一个路标触目惊
心地扑过来：Chena Hot Spring 57Mile。 |

果在Fairbanks停留至少三晚，那看到极光的概率是至少90%”。但是听到更多的是9月
和3月最好，3月人多是因为可以看冰雕，狗拉雪橇比赛，滑雪比赛。至于时间，个人建
议11点多出发，2点前回来就可以了，看了4天都是大概11；30或者12点开始，1点多衰
弱，当然也许跟特定的那几天有关。
行前Tips以及唠叨:
(1) 极光预测: http://www.gi.alaska.edu/AuroraForecast,个人感觉只能做个参考,我的DAY1-4都是2级,但中间2天效果很好,一头一尾不行。有个阿拉斯加大学出的APP,大概40分钟-1小时更新一次报告,可以做个参考,当然人已经到了FAIRBANKS,怎样都要晚上出去看看.
(2) (摘抄) Layers are the key to comfort year round. While large parkas and

1。机票从Alaska Air定。SFO< —> Fairbanks
2。Hotel： 本来打算住Chena[chi;na] hotspring resort, 可惜那里非常紧俏，提前
一个月已经没有空房。理由迟点再说。所以转到hostel $30ppl/day, 地址还不错，也
能看到极光， 不过在温泉里看极光的感觉更好，所以我们晚上还是去hotspring
resort看， 距离是往东再开一个小时。
