非常喜欢这个town，交通方便，进城走红线、出城走Route 2上95都非常方便
学区在不断改善中，高中大概在全麻省30-50名左右吧
这些年房价涨了好些，感觉每呎均价已经赶得上Lexington了 |

到场。估计那青年是嗑了药，对警员的喝令置若罔闻，反而逼近警员。刚好那警员是个
“新警察”，就开枪了。又是一起“白人警员枪杀黑人”事件。
在美国这个追求“政治正确”的社会，各大传媒自然煽风点火，什么如果“疑犯是白人
会是怎样”啦，为什么“总是白人杀黑人”啦，blah, blah, blah...
因为“政治正确”的需要，我也不好妄加评论。只是说说我自己的亲身经历。
早些年，在美国买了个投资房，学做房东，接触过不同的租客。最后的经验教训是－－
某个种族的人，不需要做什么背景调查，直接拒掉就是了。因为从统计学的角度来说，
悲剧收场的概率太大了。
后来迷上了“同城交易”（Craigslist），也算是看遍了人生百态。最后的结论也是－
－某个种族的人，不论是否好人坏人，一于避而远之，绝对不和他们交易。也是样本统
计的结果。
当然，你可以说的我样本不够大，有可能以偏盖全。我只能苦笑。惹不起，难道我还躲
不起？
我的经历，许多在美国的朋友也感同身受。这样一来，其实是恶性循环。你想想，租房

w moved to Fairfax. You may get decent apartments blocks away in those h
igh-rises in the Ballston area. Places like Rosslyn and Fall Church are
also good. Some apartments in south Arlington (Columbia Pike, Shirlingto
n etc) are ok.
You need to secure an apartment 2-3 weeks before move. Buying a house de
pends your budget. Arlington is very expensive. |

求Arlington附件比较靠谱 不黑的车检铺子，上次找了一个不靠谱的，给了几千的修车
推荐 。。。
另外，我的车从VA另外一个地方转过来的，12年8月从新注册到arlington，因为车检是
一样的，所以没有从新检测，很顺利就注册了。
可是，听同学说还需要做smoke test才能注册。
很奇怪，我应经注册了 到14年3月才过期，注册的时候也没有找我要smoke test的报告
，我这次做车检用不用做smoke test啊？我打听了一圈，smoke test 貌似也没有特殊
的标签，补做完这个东西交给谁啊？ |
