patch.
Ideally, it should be patched from the exterior, especially in your case,
obviously, the water table is high and so is the hydraulic pressure during
the rain season. But considering the size, it's not worth it. For now, just
mop it up :) The amount of water is not even worth a hydraulic cement patch. |

能还稍微贵点，时间花费可能更大。20feet的1 1/2管子加coupling和cement primer不
到30块搞定。
换成pvc的管子以后再堵的可能性要小，即使堵了清理会更方便。
拆下来之后好玩割开堵着那段管子看，可以用auger打穿，但是想清理干净基本上是mis
sion impossible.完全堵死了， |

I read quite a few articles and realized roof valleys are different.For
close-cut valleys, shingles are nailed on surface A, crossing the valley and
nailed down with two more nails on surface B.Those shingles are then

扒开地板发现很大一片sub-floor浸透水了。Flange是铸铁的，已经锈烂了，
没法修补，只能敲掉。flange周围的木板也已经朽了。我现在把地板扒开一个洞准
备打个sub-floor的补丁。一个难题是这个PVC的管子跟下面的管牢牢粘在一起
（请看附图）股沟了一下有人说或这个PVC的cement是永久性的打不开。网上有人
把这个PVC的头削掉，用一个细点的管套进去，或者不管它，补丁地板上挖个大点的
洞套过去。总觉的不是很妥。这次装完要确保不能在漏水了。对了，房子是90中期的。
有没有人搞过这个？请指点一下。那位大拿有plumbing的经验也请指点。PVC管子切
割连接难度大么？会不会有alignment的问题？这里先谢了！ |

其实瓷砖也可以，先铺一层cement board做underlayment，好像schuluter的ditra做
underlayment都可以铺在vinyl上。
只要不在乎地面比以前高出很多。

想问一下大家，这些问题有多严重：
1， 外面的墙：The butt joints on all the fiber cement have separated and are
showing the building paper
underneath。
2， 热水器：The water heater is "gurgling" at the time of the inspection
which may indicate that the unit will
need replacement soon.
3， 地下室：There is one floor joist in the crawl under the main floor full
bath which has been improperly
notched out. The top cord of the wood I joist has been cut out for
approximately 8 - 10 inches.

就换了这家，结果这家开始要10k,吓我一跳。后来拿出原先那家的PROPOSAL，结果他立
马PRICE MATCH了，还额外帮我拓宽了一下DRIVE WAY。最后真正FINISH的AREA也不止合
同上的6K SQFT，大概有8K以上。

correctly. Just carefully remove broken part from B, go to homedepot and
buy a 1/2" PVC elbow (black, with male thread on one end, and female
thread on the other end). Attach elbow to B and then sprinkler head to
the elbow. That is it.
Otherwise, you have to remove B, take it to homedepot, buy a same size
PVC elbow (white, slip on one end and thread on the other end), you will

我建议你不要从里面修；不要在地下室搞french drain。你想想，french drain的作用
是接收来的水，然后用sump pump抽走，所以你的墙上还是有水的，只是地面上没有水
；你这个地下室还是不能装修。而且french drain接受水的开口处是昆虫的天堂。
要么就痛下决心，把deck掀了再搞。反正要搞好没有几千不行；Deck重新钉个木头也没
有多少钱。掀了deck后，就挖深到漏水处；从外面用hydronic cement补洞；然后用好
的防水材料刷外墙；然后填好土，要填高，使得水往远处流；然后再钉deck。可以参考

处用kerdi band绕一圈。
