artist's depiction), one of two giant, plant-eating dinosaur species
recently discovered in Australia.
The fossilized creature, which measures almost 60 feet (18 meters) long, was
unearthed in the northeastern outback town of Winton, Queensland, in 2006.

今天接到电话，告知Bob去世的消息。先是震惊，接着悲伤不能自已。他那瘦高的形象
，还有清华主楼前的台阶上那块石砖，一直在我脑海里回荡。
Bob是个恬退的人，总应该颐养天年，却如此天不假年。
Bob和我同系。我老早就听说过他。但认识他还是后来在一个朋友的饭局上。当时网络
初开，我们都还不知道彼此早已经一根线连着。后来看到他不断在神州学人上发邮件，
才知道也是一个挂在网上的人。

今天收到朋友的电话，告知我Bob于本月11日上午去世，肝癌。
我和Bob的第一次交往是在1996年的年初。当时网上没有什么资料，于是大家闲暇
之余就把手边的书给录入进去。Bob录入了《义和团揭帖》，发在水木bbs的历史版上，
揭帖里有一句“砍倒电线杆，扒了火车道”。当时信奉全盘西化的我，于是回帖以非洲
土著形容义和团破坏文明的举动，这大约开启了网上第一次小将和汉奸之战。
后来我到了美国，时常在国内半夜连回水木bbs灌水吵架。慢慢地，我和Bob和Yuhj
混到了一起：我擅长正面进攻，Yuhj是专接脏活的muscle,而Bob则是在边上敲闷棍。白
天，我们被要求“面对国旗扪心自问”；晚上，牛鬼蛇神出洞，水木又成了我们的天下
。Boston汉奸团便是在那时有了称号，这也许是我上网最快乐的一段时光。
