Thanks for the help. 不过我已经找到原因了。之前用的VGA转DP adapter，那个是
active，现在用的是DVI转DP adapter，这个active的很贵，所以没法三屏。
这里说的是单卡三屏，我后来解除CrossFire，就可以同时使用两个显卡了。 |

新驱动也不行。windows 10 pro 64bit 1607
不想折腾了，自带的GF 730只有一个HDMI，好像不能驱动34寸60hz， 打算换成DP口独
显。要求功耗要低，而且便宜的，性能凑合就行，二手也可，如果是Quadro 便宜的更
好。

发帖数: 1361 | 12 高级说不上，hdmi标准已经到2.1，bandwidth 48 Gbit/s. DP 1.5也就40 Gbit/s, 还
要等下半年。
HDMI对象主要是consumer electronics,协议包括CEC, ARC等等专门针对电视音响的。
HDMI需要license fee, 而且比较早，先普及，家电上比较容易backward compatible，
适合家电稳定发展的pattern. DP是open standard, 电脑显卡显示器厂商比较喜欢，
适合实验新功能新科技，现在也算很普及了。 |

买专利，intel这种专利单一package就可以签下来了，apple还要单独谈判，这种事上
没人愿意多花一分钱。
当年mini DP固化前有铜无铜的讨论了很久，最终也没生产出多少产品来，除了apple和
thinkpad外还真没那家用这个标准。
apple在IT行业绝对是第二个qualcomm,当你如此强调自己专利的unique的时候，你也很
快成了市场的unique.最终大家不但抛弃了CDMA，连CPU都自己开发了。 |

dp is only needed for high bandwidth/resolution outputs.
if your GPU can't output high bandwidth signals, there is no point carrying
a DP. of course, you expect to see more DPs on high-end cards than entry
level ones. |

很久以前双机双显切换用vga kvm switch,
后来用dvi kvm switch，
现在dp kvm switch也很普遍了，200刀就能拿下了。 |

数一数二了，就像我在 prose 的帖子里写的那样，DP 做中国研究，这本来就是 job
market 这两年来最热的topic 之一，又在 fairbank center 做得博士后，那里又是中
国研究的中心之一，又是黎安友的学生，跟的是一流的导师，哥伦比亚又是政治学 PhD
Placement的 Big Eight之一，network 非常的好，几乎所有优势都被占尽了，找不到
好工作没有天理啊！：）
同样的，我也很看好 wendt 斑竹，综合起来比 DP 还要强，拭目以待：） |

monster DP还是很羡慕的。Eddy Matzger有个很好的video讲一些drill。但是那些
drill练起来还是不太容易。不知道练过的大侠们是不是这么练的？另外我这半马一小
时的水平，是不是还是老老实实从classic stroke练起？ |
