在HeLa cell里面kd了一个gene后发现E-cad的表达明显降低了
所以怀疑这个gene可能在EMT里起作用。所以我想问下这里做过EMT的，你们一般用什么
cell line作
为model做类似课题？似乎epithilial cell是一个比较合适的model，大家有什么推荐
的cell

从我目前看的paper来说，EMT包括developmental EMT,fibrosis and wound EMT和
cancer
EMT，所以发育阶段的那个例子也是一种EMT，只不过它和cancer EMT不同的是，这个是
tightly
regulated的
至于in vivo model我现在也看得一头雾水。。。感觉只要是epithilial cell line都
可以拿来
做model。。。 |

。EMT是否只是在tumor metastasis中的现象，还是更加普遍的一种细胞组织水平
behavior的变化？比如发育阶段的某些细胞类群从epithelial type cell
differentiate到multi-polar type cell，是否也属于EMT的一种？另外理想的real in
vivo model应该是什么样呢？ |

知道，即使你做drug selection，细胞状态不好的时候都会有他那所谓的EMT现象的。 |

sometimes partial. 临床上的证据太少,好的动物模型也没有.有些肿瘤通过gene
profiling表明有EMT signature,但仅此而已,它的临床意义不知道. |

我个人认为, 只有细胞形态或者functional phenotype这样的才算solid evidence,
gene profiling不能算. |
