The Queen of Scat, The First Lady of Song, A vocal Virtuosa，可算爵士乐的女
皇。所谓scat singing是指摒弃歌词，自由发挥哼唱（abandoning the lyrics of a
song to use nonsense syllables to carry the rhythem）。Louis Armstrong最先开
创scat singing，Ella Fitzgerald将之推至高潮。爵士乐的精华可能就在于歌手和乐
手的自由发挥；尤其高手之间过招，就像令狐冲的独孤九剑在西湖底下遭遇任我行时激
发出平常不可及的高明剑招，把音乐发挥得酣畅淋漓。书中写Ella Fitzgerald和乐队

依旧是如此，不过偶尔有一些机会，能读到一些评论，给人豁然开朗的感觉，仿佛
那评论家说的话，每字每句都想是发自我自己的心里，只是经过了改头换面，变得

士乐那样追求自由的精神，而像是突出民族音乐的节奏和人声和声；音乐也比较中规中
矩。我也不清楚，自己猜的。ella fitzgerald从swing jazz唱到bebop jazz，名气是
很大，也正处jazz的发展流行期，适逢其时。龚琳娜没这么个大背景，看她以后怎么发

2013 review CD虽然好，但不适合ANCC的出题， ANCC有50%的题不是考临床的，是考

serving on the federal bench continued Wednesday with the nomination of
Michael Walter Fitzgerald by President Obama.
His nomination comes on the heels of Paul Oetken's confirmation as a federal
judge Monday. Oetken became the first openly gay man ever confirmed in a

Senate Committee to Begin Debate on DOMA Repeal

on a bill to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, which bars federal

campus Wednesday morning was a junior majoring in agribusiness, UI officials
said Thursday.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said Mimi Liu, 20, of Chicago died

今年密大09class还没来的新生，我最期待的有三个，Justin Turner，Fitzgerald
Toussaint，Jeremy Gallon。其中，Justin Turner和Fitzgerald Toussaint都来自
buckeye state, ohio； Jeremy Gallon来自sun shrine state, Florda。据说他们的成

了电影，没看过书，我以前写帖子说fitzgerald给我的印象就是害怕，怕变老，怕时间
，怕死亡，yeats回帖说不对，说电影完全改变了原著，不能凭电影来判断原著。yeats
应该更熟悉fitzgerald的作品，要是他来评论一下就好了。我对他作品印象不深，感觉
就像你所说的“轻快，忧伤，迷离朦胧”，像青春期少年，像salinger那样。我对狄更
斯还印象深一点，他虽然比fitzgerald传统得多，就像你说的，好人坏人很分明，善良

一只猫的口气写的，写给小孩看的。天哪无数单词都不认识，slang太多，音乐名词太
多，比如scat、bebop这些jazz种类我都不知道。不过有些写得不错。我抄一点。看完
去听ella fitzgerald的歌，很自由放任。我听歌不多，不太适应jazz的自由发挥，我
还是喜欢有点form的。我另外开一帖说这本书和ella fitzgerald的scat/bebop jazz吧。 |

trashed, and I'll happily do it.
Maybe what has me so angry is that this book won the most prestigious
literary prize in France, when, really, all it deserves is to end up in a
trashcan.
The concept in itself had me interested, though: the heroine is Zelda
Fitzgerald, and the whole book is narrated by her. Interesting idea, right?
