6月中从西雅图来到佛州，感觉像进了蒸笼一样，每天90多度，湿度也挺高，

Did anybody have the refinance experience in Florida? Usually how much
for the refinance fee for the loan around $270,000? I seems I need to
prepare for around $4000 for the refinance. Is it correct? Hope someone can

本人(Northern US)有意明年一月底带父母去Florida玩 (我也从来没有去过), 打算飞
到Orlando, 当然是要玩Disney World的, 但可能不会四个园都玩, 请问哪个(或者哪两
个)最好玩, 特别是对三个成年人来说? 还想去beach,现想到两个选择: Cocoa Beach
和 ClearWater. 前者是因为要去Cape Canaveral看Kennedy Space Center, 是顺路;
后者是因为有朋友前不久去过, 很是推荐. 现在我的问题是, 如果去了Cocoa Beach,
还是否需要再去看ClearWater? (ClearWater 是相反方向, 而且离Orlando 也要开车两
个多小时)
预算时间是四夜五天.
因为想尽快定机票和Hotel, 望热心的朋友有建议的请尽快回贴. 先谢谢了! |

成Florida的驾照，今天听人说这里的驾照时间是根据签证有效时间算的。所以得核实
一下是不是有这回事啊？如果真是这样，为了能在这里开车，岂不每年都要回去搞回签

我用的是Geico，保险的费用也要比原来多上几十快钱。Geico的店员告诉大致有两个原
因：
1. Florida的自然灾害相对较多，致使很多保险公司撤走，竞争少了价格就会往上涨。
2. Florida的保险诈骗很多，很多人买了半年一年的保险，拿到保险卡后就去保险公司
取消保险，但卡还是放在车里，骗骗警察。
不知道他讲的有多可信，不过这里的消费确实要高些就是了。 |

我需要付$200 as Deductible，而保险公司一文不付。
我以前在NY的保险关于Lab都是copay $10。
今年转成Florida Blue后做过一次血液的lab，
我付了19.73 的deductible，所以以为其它lab也是如此。
结果做这次lab前Dr问我要不要做，需要我的authorization。
我以为例行公事，就同意了。这种Biopy后肯定要检查的呀，
可是没想到是这个高额的，对我一个学生而言。感叹一下吧。

这个周末去了florida的panama city，我觉得真是超级不错！海是蓝绿色的，沙子很洗
很白。因为带着小小娃，所以很遗憾没有机会在晚上挖螃蟹。
住和beach：我们住的是海边的一个宾馆，宾馆有indoor（很必要，如果下雨的话）和
outdoor swimming pool，outdoor swimming pool周围有伞和躺椅，都是免费用的。
outdoor swimming pool就是冲着海，从pool前的台阶下来就到了beach上。海里很干净
，没有水草，我也没看见海蜇。太阳很大，在海边很棒！但是我觉得这个海不是很安全
，因为后来我从桥上看到了两只鲨鱼，每只大概1.5米长，倒不是大白鲨，但是我听说
这个尺寸的鲨鱼也可以对人造成很大的伤害。近的那只鲨鱼离岸只有20米左右。所以我
觉得最好不要去深于膝盖的水里。而且这个海滩有个小问题，就是比较陡，一下去就变
深的很快，而且浪很大。所以大家在很浅的地方玩玩就好。
海滩有的地方有life guard，身材巨巨巨巨巨巨好！很tan！很高大！拿着baywatch里

刚刚体验完key west之旅，key west很普通就是一个很典型的旅游小镇，真正值得记忆
的是那一路行走在florida keys，超美超赞，很多affluent community非常漂
亮，那一把一把keys把key west和miami串联起来，那才是去key west的真谛啊！
旅行的目的地固然重要，但是沿途或许更值得珍惜 |

先说明一点，我钓鱼喜欢尝试不同的钓法，钓不同的鱼。基本上我只对没钓过的鱼和没尝试过的钓法感兴趣，不刻意追求大小。刚开始海钓时，决定把New England所有能钓的鱼都钓个遍。除了tuna，此目的早就实现了。从北向南，钓过ME, NH, MA, RI四州. NY的长岛也钓过几次，包括去年的Montauk之行。后来，就逐渐开始计划游钓东海岸。但考虑到时间有限和我感兴趣的没钓过的鱼在Florida都能找到，决定游钓Florida。经过钓鱼迷的指点，最终锁定在南FL，并由他提供全面支持。
FL是钓鱼的天堂。烧钱而且最简单的玩法，就是花钱找个guide, 包个船，直接把你带到你喜欢的big game fish前，然后你只管fight, 最后拍张抱着大鱼的照片，回去show off, 比大小。基本上，你交钱就能买到你的目的和照片，但也失去了研究和寻找的乐趣。另外的玩法就是我比较喜欢的一点点的玩不同的鱼，体会不同的钓法。这才是我所enjoy的fishing。虽然我的dream之一是fly fishing tarpon, 但最终还是决定先 |
