我以为北加车队没人牵头都散了呢。
早上看地图的记忆在East PA左转右挪，总算找到穿过101的overpass，然后到Bryan St
(Niandong老家)转California St， 再经过Hanover到Hillview。除了Jinyuan同学身
体小恙未来，其他都到齐. 一行六人，从Foothill转Moody上山。在Moody上我attack了
一把，结果快到顶时严重透支。在Moody/PageMill小憩，期间广议湾区地产。Niandong
和Chengming下午有事便先行从Page Mill下山。其余人等继续走PageMill上山。期间与
Jun较量了几把，互有胜负按下不表。上到Skyline来: ，正在歇息，只见Chengdu同学
骑来，砰的一声，后胎报销。也真是凑巧，刚好在regroup的时候才爆胎，说明RP还是
攒足了的. 换了车胎沿skyline向北继续前行， 一路烟雾迷蒙，却又有蓝色海岸线在雾
间偶见。到了OLH下山，转到Woodside的Buck's吃饭。话说这Woodside乃是VC后院，名

警方披露，现有一个男子被拘留。嫌犯用刀子行刺，砍了多刀。警官特里克提（Vic Trickett）透露，这个男子当时是作为一起案子的见证人，在没有预约的情况下前来出庭作证。该男子30岁，在行凶的过程中头部也受伤，同样也被先送往医院。
事件发生在昨天上午，地点在 卡尔加里第七街（Seventh Avenue S.W.）警局的审讯室内。案发后，其它骑警闻讯纷纷涌入审讯室内。
两名受伤骑警年龄都在五十出头，警方拒绝透露其姓名。

亚市警局透露，该校华裔学生前一晚因打电动游戏而拖延做功课，遭父亲挨打，伤痕累累、脸上有明显淤青痕迹的他次日向学校顾问举报说，「遭到父亲家暴」。校方随即报警，37岁的华男因「虐儿罪」被捕，并接受洛县儿童及家庭服务局调查。警方暂不透露该华裔姓名等相关细节。
前艾尔蒙地学区教委、圣盖博高中资深教师文华东表示，「若家中挨打就要报告老师」的意识自幼儿园开始就在美国土生土长的小孩脑海中扎根。也曾见过一些比较嚣张的小孩拿此当自卫盾牌，在父母面前恐吓道，「你打我，我就告你虐儿。」
文华东强调，因中西文化不同，在「虐童」问题上也曾闹过笑话。曾有一个中医师朋友携太太、两个儿子移民美国。儿子因头疼，夫妻俩便在他脖子处刮痧。岂料数天后太太以虐待儿童罪被抓走，让中医师哭笑不得。在向儿童与家庭服务部出示中医技术证明后，这场「闹剧」才收尾。

据美国《世界日报》报道，很多美国人对66号公路(Route 66)情有独钟，这条从芝加哥到洛杉矶的公路，被很多美国人认为是了解中西部风情的绝佳路线，连美国驻华使馆也力推这条公路，但部分赴美旅游的中国游客或留学生表示，这条路有点无聊。
旅游业者Bobby黄表示，目前这条路还没有旅行社开发旅游线路，因为很多中国游客停留美国大约两至三星期，而且很多人都想要在此时间内玩遍东西两岸各大景点，而66号公路耗时至少一周，而且并没有特别显著的景点，不会吸引太多旅行团。
部分华人认为这条线路有点无聊，至少看不出什么特色。家住圣迪玛斯的张先生表示，这条路就在自己家门口，非常普通，没有什么特别需要参观，而且几乎每个十字路口都有红绿灯，如果全程都是这样的话，从南加开到芝加哥“可能会疯掉”，而且沿途也没有什么特别值得一看的景色。

圣塔芭芭拉县惊传华裔针灸中医师一家三口惨遭灭门血案。
警方24日晚间公布死者为57岁的中医师韩卫东（Weidong Henry Han，译音），29岁的
妻子余惠洁（Huijie Yu，译音），他们的五岁女儿Emily Han。
警方表示，他们于23日下午5时30分接获代为查看电话，而到韩家位于Greenhill Way
4600号路段山边的豪宅查访，赫然发现三人陈尸家中，已遭残酷杀害。
韩家位于Goleta与圣塔芭芭拉之间的101高速公路旁的山上。警方24日清晨取得搜索令
后再入内详查。
圣县警局发言人Kelly Hoover说：“县警局的刑警们不分昼夜全力调查此谋杀案，不放
过任何线索，务必找出冷血凶手。”凶手作案动机不明。

就走不到foothills，而且导航仪都不会给el camino的， 因为谷歌总部就在101 exit
，如果你走el camino，那个横过来的三条平行大长路，一个是shoreline blvd, 一个
是charlson，一个是rengstorff，全都堵的车山车海了。。。拥堵程度持续到至少10
点，才会好一些。
这三条我上下班都走过，车子压根就不动。

sushi master，每天看到无数港台富二代带着美女来吃寿司，我当时就一种冲动想从金
门大桥跳下来，都是爹妈生，凭啥人家天天吃香的喝辣的，我们长乐偷渡的每天做寿司
做的手疼，凭啥人家上斯坦富，开M6，泡美女，我只能上foothill college,做
caltrain,回家打手冲，但是回头想想，虽然sushi master比post doc社会地位低下，
但是最少也有一个月4千的收入，回到平顶山老家也能盖个大房子，娶老婆生孩子，所
以我们穷人还是有希望，有动力，邓买办最大的问题就是不让我们穷人看到任何希望，
邓买办提出的让一部份人先富起来，然后同过这部分先富带动其他人，纯TMD的撤蛋，
先富的不会也没有义务帮助后富的，帮助穷人是政府的职责，政府因该尽最大的努力创
造一个公平的社会 |
