Geraldine Ferraro Dies at 75

Geraldine Ferraro, the first woman to run on a major party ticket as a vice
presidential nominee, died Saturday at the age of 75 after a long battle
with blood cancer.
NBC New York reports that Ferraro, who shared the unsuccessful 1984
Democratic ticket with Walter Mondale, died at Massachusetts General
Hospital from complications of multiple myeloma.

发帖数: 18 | 50 终于从mexico顺利拿到F1签证回到Ann Arbor, 鉴于去mexico续签的人不多，而且事实
证明还是完全有可行性的，在此整理一下我的攻略，方便后人。
1. 去Canada还是Mexico?
在美国是不能续签美国签证的，必须出美国境外，回母国签是最保险的情况。如果种种
原因来不及回，可以考虑第三国签证，一般会选择canada或者mexico。Michigan离
Canada很近，Canada Toronto也是签证热点地区之一。去Canada签需要Canadian 签证
，去Detroit 花75刀可以办个旅游签证，从今年起好像不能当天拿到签证了，要等到第
二天。我去年去旅游，Canadian旅游签证已经过期了，我没车所以来回detroit很不方
便。相比之下，去mexico nogales是不要签证的，因为nogales在美国和墨西哥的边境
，边境一定范围之内是不要求visa的。从michigan飞到arizona tucson 机场，然后从
tucson机场驱车一个多小时到边境，走过边境就离nogales的US consulate很近了。
