当时我把所有Uber的Leetcode题都准备了一遍，然后电面只面了front-end的内容，一
口老血。。
面的主要是jQuery.animate()模块。搭button和进度条，要求实现互动和动画效果：
click一下button，进度条开始走；再来几个进度条，一个接一个地走。。。啥的。
刷了两个月的leetcode，js基本生得不行。果不其然挂掉了。更多的内容我也不太记得
了…………我的记忆保护机制基本上快把这段给擦除了，面完后在床上躺了半天尸才缓
过来…………

easier for engineers to reinvent wheels or show visibility (e.g. moving data
from db A to db B and you claim the performance is improved by xxx --- if
not, u can claim it helps long term xxxx)

u do this/that. The problem is since u work with designers, it's hard for

与layout比，CAD的求职方向不会更窄吧？除了methodology engineer, 也可以再转
backend design, frontend design 或design verification , 甚至去EDA公司做AE，

layout, 看不出求职面会比CAD宽。

能救回来的，你们看到的http 500就是web app本身崩了。
前端本身是一个对app performance要求非常高的职位，crappy code会影响页面的
rendering时间，rendering时间长会导致bounce rate增加间接导致revenue降低。如何
让前端页面快速加载涉及到server response time, frontend response time和
payload的优化，这些都是web engineer要考虑的。而且一旦你的web产品是customer
facing的，代码质量要求就更高了，新feature既要iterate的够快，bug也不能有，因
为任何bug都是影响用户体验然后间接影响$$$的。
说了这么多，我就是想说“前端产品迭代快，但对稳定性要求较低，因为没啥 Bug 是
refresh Page救不回来的。这就导致对代码质量的要求低，也就是对水平高和水平低的
程序员区分度不够。”这一

本人女，master，不是牛校。还没毕业的时候拿到了湾区一家做硬件公司的offer，写
软件，就在公司工作到现在。4-5年了，senior engineer。
做过firmware testing，后来又开始做写测试仪器（硬件公司需要用到很多不同牌子的
仪器）的driver，跟本公司应用联系起来。觉得挺有趣。后来自然地就从写driver上升
到写上面的user interface，十分喜欢。因为在学engineer之前很喜欢设计，画图之类
的兴趣爱好。所以说写GUI算是有点点联系。
到现在工作啥的都能轻松应付，觉得有点无聊。而且工资是按照当时刚毕业，test
engineer给的，所以有点可怜，所以想要跳个槽，涨点工资。
和版上刷题的各位大牛不同，我没有系统的学过算法，master是EE而且完全没有编程，
编程都是后来自己学的，也不是很想做那种逻辑性非常强的backend编程。
我觉得我的用途在于对user interface有点研究，对hardware（公司产品）的testing

我家LD虽然名校毕业，但因为coursework太重所以没时间做intern，导致找fulltime工
作艰难。作为new grad要求也不高，只要能在西雅图找到一份IT相关的工作都可以，甚
至无法今年抽H1B都可以。因为我们需要积累的是工作经验，任何工作经验。然后再同
时找2018 full-time SDE。
所以，请教各位前辈：
1. 除了用OPT做找fulltime或intern SDE之外，在Seattle地区还有什么job title适合
new grad做呢? 比如frontend developer？QA？ SDET？（我虽然乱说了几个，说错了
请指正）
2. 我在版上看到有前辈讨论说去找“微软的vendor”的职位。我研究了一下，貌似
vendor感觉就是ICC contractor吧？但这两者有什么具体区别呢？西雅图地区，vendor
职位最多的就是微软么？
最重要的是，申请这种vendor position，是自己去网申，还是也要通过类似ICC的中介
呢？
