中策是把车库改出两房间来出租。反正你不开车走路上班。 成本比建guest house低多
了。
下策才是建guest house， 费工， 费时， 费神。 你的身体已出过一次事了， 搞坏身
体最不合算。而且你SR那lot就巴掌大，建guest house就没空地了吧？

有个三流学校的副教授，不知道怎么听说我拿到了grant，
来了封书面信件，说有兴趣跑来做guest speaker, 宣传他的思想。
在这封信里面，他根本没有提报酬的问题。
我心里想，好事啊，你愿意来，我们就愿意接待，用grant来报销差旅费。
于是我发了个email给那个家伙，问他啥时候可以来。
此人回信很快，说明年上半年可以来，一天的访问时间，但要收取2000块出场费。其他食宿还不算。

Hindawi的算open access杂志里不错的，里面不少杂志也被web of science收录，
做个guest editor，作为service的一部分，积攒点经验，长远考虑。
当然，tenure最重要的东西，不是service。
做special issue这种事，你拉到了有名的人来当guest editor，
拉到了有名的组或者好文章投稿，审稿什么的也很正规、有益，
大家也都是能看到的，质量完全掌握在你手里，
你负责了，你的reputation才好。
如果连ap都不愿意尽这个学术界的义务，都眼高于顶，
估计大家也都没什么好处。 |

位于Sunnyvale（94086）的位置，靠近101，237，central expressway。
公寓详情：
户型是2B2B
新remodel过的，家电什么都是新的。十月中旬lease才开始，所以我也是十月中下旬才
搬进去。
整个公寓1000 square feet。guest room不小，有13*11，和一般普通1b1b的卧室大小
一样，guest restroom有shower但不含tub。公寓内自带洗衣机烘干机。
我这边已有dining set和沙发电视。
正规小区，泳池健身房都有，环境安静，是我考察了多家小区后定下的，lease要签一
年，到明年10月初，任何变动都需要通过小区正规途径。小区允许养宠物，如果你有宠
物，我们也可以商量。
本人详情：
女码农一枚，去年刚毕业来到湾区，白天上班夜晚在家，生活比较简单，无不良嗜好，
在家聚会少，爱cooking，不过不是每天都做。
招租对象：
