镇，甚至直言解决了IIS的大本营而多名IIS的高官也已经命丧黄泉，看似这一疯狂的恐
怖组织已经到了日薄西山、摇摇欲醉的地步了。
然而这一摇摇欲坠的恐怖组织却一直都在欧洲国家进行着恐怖袭击。好似每一起恐怖袭
击都和IIS脱不了干系。为什么IIS还能够在欧洲猖狂呢？首先不得不让人怀疑IIS虽然
有些高官头目已经命丧黄泉，但是IIS这个恐怖组织的理念已经深入到了很多人的心中
，无论发生什么大多数人依然坚持着，因此这让IIS还依旧活跃在欧洲大路上。
其次对于这一恐怖组织的形成就和欧美等国脱不了干系，这样的一个富有政治因素在其
中的事情，要想彻彻底底的得到解决，肯定不是靠着战争就能够解决的了。所以IIS头
目可以死，根据地可以换但是这个组织依旧难以消亡。 |

两国政府似乎也十分乐观的表示IIS很快就会被消灭，似乎这场战役的结局很快就会到

对于IIS被包围甚至能够得到消灭是一件大快人心的事情，毕竟恐怖主义对任何一个
民众来说都是一件只有弊没有利的事情！恐怖主义就好像癌症一样，让人憎恶让人讨厌
让人想要不遗余力的消灭掉。不过IIS能否真的像人们所希望的那样被消灭还是一个未
知数。如果IIS只是一个单纯的恐怖组织那么估计早都被歼灭多少回了，而今IIS已经长
达五年之久足以表明这个恐怖主义的背后的支撑力量是非常强大的。对于整个国际社会
来说是否真的是一心一意想要消灭这个组织还是一个未知数。
对于现在被合围的IIS来说可能也是一个障眼法，恐怖组织的灭亡还很漫长。 |

、世界各国都在吐槽巴西的时候，这个时候巴西政府并没有做出任何的补救，更是没有
对这些问题做出任何回应，也许南美人觉得他们已经做到了最好的准备了。
不过面对来自世界各国的吐槽甚至是抗议这让巴西政府也是倍感压力很大。这样的
局面总得有人为此负责甚至说要为此付出代价，对于巴西政府来说不能够让自己人来为
此负责因此巴西政府选定了一些倒霉蛋，并且他们很坚定的认为这些人和当今世界的恐
怖组织IIS有关系。
不得不说巴西政府太聪明了，要知道全世界现在都在痛恨着这个组织都恨不得能把
他们一网打尽因此巴西人希望能够把这个大大的黑锅让IIS来背着。不知道IIS知道以后
会不会站出来说我们为此负责任。
先不说IIS会不会承认这个问题，先来想想巴西政府把房屋漏水、电线裸露这样的
问题放在一个恐怖组织的身上这似乎让恐怖组织颜面难存啊。毕竟恐怖组织要是就干这
个事情那真的不好意思说他们是恐怖组织啊。 |

IIS
It had to create the virtual dir in IIS manually. Normally we don't want to
put the source code in inetpub\wwwroot, so you need to create the virtual dir
first, then create the Web Project in VS.NET
user
Create a Application Pool in IIS, logging with your own user/pass. Assign the
Applicatin Pool to the ASP.NEt web application in IIS. this allows you to
debug it with non-adminiatrator account.
My best practice: forget about "Web Project" concept in VS.NET compleletly.

I installed IIS 5.1 on my XP professional, but when I tried http://localhost from the browser, a window jumped out requiring username and password(please see the picture). When I was installing this IIS, I didn't see any step asking me to set up username and password. And it is not my computer's administrator username and pwd either. Does anybody know this kind of problem? Tons of Thanks.

用IIS建了一个FTP server，在本地机上访问正常，
可是从外面连回来就不行。
同一台机器，IIS的web server就没有问题。
问题：
是不是IIS的FTP server除了我assign的port以外还要用到其它的port来commute?
如何设定这些其它的port? 以便于我设定router的port forward和firewall. |

WIN2K 是盗版, 还是IIS自己的问题. 另外, 确定一下IIS的目录权限设置没有错, 包括

Somehow this router blocks port 80. I cannot have IIS listen to this port.
Nonstandard ports are fine.
My ISP, SBC DSL, does NOT block port 80. In other words, if I directly
connect my XP box to the DSL modem, my IIS can listen to port 80 without any
problem.
I did port forwarding setting in the router as instructed at
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/HTTP.htm

it's optional component on either professional or server edition.
if you just want to learn ASP.NET, you don't need to install IIS.
just install VS.NET 2005, it comes with a simple IIS server. but it doesn't
have management console, but enough for developing websites and learn ASP.

1.1 (I take u are using 1.1, not 1.0) and hot fix. Install IIS (actually I
found this problem won't happen if you are using XP edition that comes with
IIS, like professional, since the IIS is pre-installed before .Net Framework
). Then install .net framework. Although there are people on the internet
suggesting just register .Net framework, it didn't work for me. I found

的IIS上运行，但是在我两位朋友的机子上老有问题，只要
一调我的ASP file，他们的机子就会有这种现象：
先是页面老出不来，只见状态栏的蓝条一直在动，过了一会，
出现错误信息页面，云网站太忙，太多用户连接等等，可
明明在自己的local上调试啊！而且只要出现这种错误页面后，
再也看不了别的网页了。除非重新启动机器。
不知是asp的问题，还是iis的问题？那位有此种经验的朋友支个招 |

password. But if I only use IIS(no JRun) I am able to open that page in web
browser without any problem. Does anyone know why I get the login prompt
window?

(主要是 IT 的学生, 叫他们熟悉一下 server log 的模样和目录). 不想我的 server 上
周硬盘刚 fail, 还没来得及恢复. 哪位大虾若有 run IIS on Windows 的, 你的
Windows 系统目录下的 system32\Logfiles\W3SVC1 下的 LOG 文件随便 COPY 一个贴上
来好么? (最好是那种有 suspicious activity going on 的, 例如某个 IP 地址不断地
调用一个不存在的文件, 或是不断地企图执行一个 script).

在2008 server上用IIS设了个ftp server.
然后我用filezilla client在其他机器上连，
用passive mode，所有机器都是卡在LIST命令那里，连不上了。
用active mode的话，win2003, 和XP的机器可以正常连接，没有问题，
但是用另外一台同样是2008的机器连，LIST命令没问题，但卡在LIST下面这条命令，
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls
然后过一会就说timeout了。
有人知道怎么解决吗?
