Original offer letter 指明这只是一个三年的职位。所以那个letter用不了了。
学校同意出具一份Employment verification letter,可以写上permanent的意思。

几天前开始， 笔记本电脑不能正常关机，取而代之的是重启，要循环n次，有时是10数
次，才能关机，有时候实在等不及了，就长按power键，才能关掉，不过可在安全模式
下正常关机，
我的系统是win xp professional sp3：
1）检查了硬件，应该没有问题，
2）用了User Profile Hive Cleanup Service，没提示错误，
3）取消了 “restart on system failure” feature，还是不行
4）禁用了 wake on LAN, BIOS 设置应该也没有问题
5）USB，网线，鼠标，电源有都是了
估计是系统问题，可是实在是不想重装，费时，而且，我的是Thinkpad T42, 以前也没
有备份过， 一键就到了出厂设置...

overkill?
I'm looking into buy a kit of 2x2GB memories for P55-UD4P and i7-860. I
wonder which memory will perform better in the real world (I don't over
clock, but I'm willing to go to BIOS and adjust the memory timing):
1) 1600 MHz with 7-7-7-24
2) 1333 MHz with 7-7-7-2 |
