pros:

generally better looking and save water
gentle on clothes
Cons:
usually can't stop in the middle of the load
Rubber seal might be easy to leak. Also it's a major reason for the odor
Mold/Mildew. Another cause of odor. need extra care like wiping or open it
to air dry. but a few review says the odor comes from collection of water
inside.

塑料的，应该可以用bleach.
To get rid of mold and mildew, the best dishwasher cleaner is the bleach.
Add one tablespoon of the bleach after emptying the contents of the
dishwasher. Run at full cycle. This will clean out the mold that had built
up inside the dishwasher tub, leaving it spanking clean. |

但是他说换屋顶我的保险公司应该管，不用自己掏钱。但是我们的屋顶现在还挺好的。
我们在德州，下雪结冰很少，但是雨水很多。前两个星期烟囱附近生了霉菌(mildew)
，我想问一下这是跟屋顶有关系么？
还有是等着屋顶有漏水的时候找保险公司换好（保险的hail damage deductible是1%），
还是现在趁还没坏的时候找人换好?

Contact the neighbor and check for active leaks 1st.
Then either replace the drywall completely or get some mildew/mold killers
to treat and dry the entire wall cavity. Either way, this whole wall's gotta
be gutted to the studs, not too bad if you hire a handy man/contractor to
do it. |

的Move-Out Charges。每个细小项目都在后面列了修复的金额，看到这个表有些被吓到
了。请大家看看，这样的Move-Out Charges是属于标准流程里的吗？大家租房的时候都
收到这个吗？另外，怎么确定如下的东西是好的，还是需要被Charge的？当我们搬进去
的时候，是不是要和房东一起检查房间内的各样东西的状况，好有一个对房子维护的基
本的共识？

暖气，长期下来这个洗澡的地方湿气就比较重，也不通风，于是终于。。。除了那个可
以清除的粉色SOAP STAIN，还有黑色的东东，上网查了一下貌似是MOLD或者MILDEW神码
的， 网上有人说可以用BLEACH和那种专门清除MOLD的DETERGENT一起清除。
我上午用刷子拿着清理TUB的AGENT使劲的擦，擦，擦，还是擦不动，发现那玩意长到那
个RIM也就是墙角的那个白色粘胶上去了，扣都很难弄下来。
请问各位有HOUSE的同学有没有过战斗这个的经历。有个HOUSE 太麻烦了。。。。还得
平时注意干净啊，不然现在哭也没有用，呜呜呜。

子当初师傅做时没有加caulking, 一年了，看着挺好。
这次为新买的房子装修，interview的一个师傅说浴缸和墙边缘以及浴缸和地砖边缘，
还有墙砖的两条垂直边角线需要上caulking，否则容易grout裂开渗水。 可后面
interview的另一个师傅又说不用。
我搞不清到底需要吗？我自己是倾向不用，因为caulking时间长了容易发霉出现黑点
，哪怕是mildew and mold resistant 的caulking, 因为我厨房sink前的窗底下
caulking就有些小黑部分。

想一两年内换学区房，这里的学区房至少要1米。
现在住的房子想搬出去以后整修一下再卖。
主要是老房子有popcorn ceiling, 石棉泡沫天花板，
卫生间有mildew, 黑霉菌等。
我LD说我们就得先卖新房，再修旧房再卖。所以
就得贷很大的款。
20% down payment 至少要20万。还得贷80万的款。
他说怕贷不下来。
我想我们都有一个房了，至于被银行拒绝吗？
实在求保险可以先租着住，老房子先装修，卖掉
再买新房子。
因为没经验，可能想法比较幼稚。版上有没有好人
指点一下怎么操作。
还有问一下旧房卖前装修有没有必要。我现在这个房子
的地毯是上个房主卖前新装的。卫生间我觉得装修不便宜，
个人爱好差别又很大。搞不好花冤枉前收不回投资。清除popcorn
Ceiling 也不觉得有那么大的必要。总之不想花钱费力装修，到时候收不回
