每个project都是固定的价格，当然是做的越快赚钱越多。总之大概能用一段时间，糊弄
过去就行了。
如果是paid by the hour的contractor，那你就会见识到慢动作了，活不一定细，但是
绝对慢。比如政府的project的，大多都是这种。最后budget overrun也没人care或者
负责，反正纳税人买单。
总之home owner自己能弄得东西，绝对是自己弄的最好。 |

看过一本传记, The Last Stand of Fox Company.
F连在Fox Hill保护长津湖南面的出口。志愿军一个团包围进攻5天拿不下来。第6天美
军一个连的援军突破封锁到达后，志愿军撤退。现场body count 超过1000志愿军阵亡.
F连连长和援军的少校被授予medal of honor.
志愿军每天进攻一到三次，每次大约一个连的兵力。F连长知道自己的软肋在什么地方
，一旦中国军队从那个地方冒出来，F连就会被overrun，但中国军队从来没有从那里出
现。相反大部分进攻都被F连尽收眼底，F连长从望远镜看到中国军队从远处4列纵队整
整齐齐走到山脚下开始进攻，志愿军一直到死伤过半停止进攻。志愿军也干过成功的夜
袭，但F连收缩兵力后，夜袭者全军覆没而放弃，F连最厉害的伤亡是来自于狙击手。F
