第一张图，打开hood检查reservor和hose，从上方看不出什么裂缝。
第二张图，从车底下看，有一根hose从engine前方进去，可能是连到radiator去的。被
挡住了，看不见里面，可能radiator位于风扇和engine之间。
第三张图，从reservor往里面注水，车底下哗哗的漏，水都从engine和oil filter
holder之间的间隙流下来。黑色的罐子是oil filter.
第四张图，如果盖上reservor的盖子，哗哗漏的水流立刻变成一滴一滴的漏。
毛病大吗？漏的是hose还是radiator? radiator有没有坏？mechanics说要把车开来做
一个pressure test才能确定radiator漏没漏，在决定拖不拖车之前，有没有什么简单
办法知道radiator漏没漏？ |

你加coolant的时候有没有先对百分之五十的水
搅和好了再加到radiator里面呢？因为纯的coolant
导热性能很差所以需要借水的帮助。当然如果要
要让引擎迅速冷却的话用纯水是最好的啦。但是
为了防止 radiator生锈或是冻坏至少要和入百分之
四十以上的coolant。和入的coolant要是超过百分之
七十以上引擎就可能会overheat。还有你有没有定期
用些化学物质来flush radiator？要是radiator里面某些
地方堵住了也可能导致overheat。
也有可能你车子的给radiator降温的风扇坏了，那就得修。
至于花多少银子就不大清楚了。 |

状况：
上周五准备去dealer换油的时候打开hood的盖子，意外地发现那个coolant
reservior已经不知道什么时候完全空了，觉得不妙（开车的时候一直注意温度表，没
有异常）。果然，在dealer换完油，那边人告诉我说radiator的上部漏，需要更换整个
radiator，估价500多刀。于是让其加满coolant，开了回来，打开hood，发现那个病灶
就位于水箱的顶部，那个铝壳由于时间太长发生老化，开了一条长长的缝，车子启动的
时候coolant在压力作用下就从这个缝冒出来，见图。网上google了一下，决定先将这
条缝黏上试试。于是去walmart买了个J-B Weld（据说能耐600F高温，约4000个psi的压
力）给这条缝贴上。第二天将车开出去大概5分钟，check hood，发现完全不管用，
coolant很快就突破了那个纸糊的epoxy防线，疯狂外涌。
现在考虑的Option:
(1) 继续使用其他的方法来堵住这个缝。比如下面链接中那个epoxy（感觉成功可能性

楼主确实是犯了个错误，他以为trans fluid是流经radiator来冷却的。事实上
transmission的冷却和发动机冷却是一个道理，都是通过冷却液来流经发动机里的冷却
室或者transmission里面的冷却通道。不同的是发动机发热量大，因此水箱也比较大。
transmission的冷却液也有个小radiator，比如宝马就是这个小radiator和大radiator
连在一起，通过大radiator来给trans fluid冷却，但两种制冷剂是分开的两个不同的
循环通道。
所以说楼主拔那个所谓的hose是多此一举，即使拔开，里面也只有冷却液而没有
transmission fluid。
另外老车尽量不要换trans fluid了，如果以前一直是定期换，那还行。如果好几万
mile或者好几年没换过，那是自己找死。
80%老车长期没换过trans fluid的车，换后车就报废。
专门的transmission shop的专家都说，老车以前没经常换的，最好不要换。

1. 打开前盖，看冷却液页面，正常在上次加完后的位置，地面上也没有漏的痕迹
2. 启动发动机，关闭制冷，打开空调加热档最大温度和最大风，偶尔加点油门到4000
转，加速引擎热起来
3. 约10分钟后，测radiator的inlet管子温度约195F，outlet管子温度95F，加coolant
的罐子里液面上升到快要充满罐子，温度约90F。车内出风口温度在85F左右，仪表盘的
温度算正常在1/4位置
4. 约15分钟后，测radiator的inlet温度在205F左右，outlet温度在105F左右，加
coolant的管子里感觉满了，温度在95F左右，车内出风口温度在98F左右，仪表盘的温
度高了些，在1/2位置晃荡，radiator后面的风扇开始运转，感觉后面有要overheat的
趋势了，因为平时温度是不会到1/2的位置
5. 在加点油门的时候，在2000和2800转左右，听到有一样的声音，是从water pump那
一面传来的，但不知道是从里面，还是外面的皮带造成的，录了音

老车是六年前在Atlanta附近买的,那个时候大概六岁,七万迈. 前任车主是个印度人,从
佛罗里达买了开到北方的Atlanta去的.它跟着我们走南闯北,游遍了东南部各州(北到DC
,南到FL,只有MS没有去过).打算要卖的时候,已经有十六万迈.之前泰山大人来访,拿它
练习了一阵子.
卖到临头,发现RADIATOR有漏.这也是在意料之中的事情. GERDO家的东西,大概都有点"
IF YOU WANT TOSELL ME, I AM GONNA BREAK"的小脾气.就拿先前的那个TERCEL来说吧,
有一天我们在商量卖了换个大点的车,结果第二天水泵就坏了,说不得,修了之后又开了
三四年才卖掉.BTW,那车卖的时候十一万迈了,没有空调,但是外观显得巨新,12岁那年在
佛罗里达一个闷热的地方卖了一千一.
闲话少说,言归正传. 却说老车11岁8个月的时候坏了RADIATOR,我没意识到漏洞的严重
性,准备某夜开200迈到上次卖TERCEL的那个地方准备创造另外一个奇迹.出发才十分钟,

背景辐射一般在2mSv/a (Sv=sievert=joule/kg),期中包括宇宙背景辐射，自然界矿石
中的放射性元素（uranium），以及被人体摄入的放射性元素（Rn/K）。
在美国，radiation protection的dose limit是严格控制的。对于occupational
radiation worker是50mSv/a。对于public是1mSv/a
lz说的研究x-ray，具体实验条件，防护措施如何？
实验室有常备GM counter吗？实验室和x-ray machine有shielding吗？进出要佩戴film
badge吗？还有，进实验室前要不要进行操作培训？
如果对实验室的危害不是很确定的，最好的办法应该是找老板谈谈。或者，去学校的
radiation safety office。一般来说，学校既然有x-ray source，就一定有RSO，而且
老板也应该是authorized licensee。
其实radiation是满有趣的，有radiation therapy和diagnostic radiology。没有像大

magnetic dipole radiation是因为角动量和磁场的相互作用.
两个应该能够同时发生, 但对于一般的物质, electric dipole radiation
要比magnetic dipole radiation强10^5, 所以一般只有在electric dipole
radiation是forbidden的时候才考虑magnetic dipole, 同时也要考虑
electric quadrupole了. 磁性材料就不清楚了. |
