我想稍微解释一下。因为当天Saint Patrick‘s Day是Irishi的节日，所以选择去一
家Irish pub，很多程度上想多了解一下culture。而且这个pub就在我家附近，我每天
上班开车都会路过，会觉得比较安全，如果是约在别的不熟悉的地方，我可能就不去答
应去了。其实这个pub真的是很family-orientated，当晚看到很多家庭一家老小都来的
，其中local band的主唱还是公司另外一位同事的儿子，爷爷奶奶都到了，一脸骄傲
的跟大家打招呼。我们本来也不会呆那么晚，只是中间发了raffle，就想等等看。结果
直到午夜才抽奖。raffle完我就想走了，只是后面还有一首歌，他示意要坚持听完，后
来才知道他是要等结束了给band小费。瞬间让我觉得他人很细心。
而我本人也绝对不是party animal，去pub的次数屈指可数，之前仅有的一两次也是和
一大票女生去凑热闹而已。周围的人也都觉得我是很独立的女生，能够自己解决的事情

曾几何时我们高傲矜持的女同胞，放下了她们的骄傲和矜持，只要看见个外国人就像苍
蝇见了屎一样，扑上去跪舔，脱裤子张开腿任对方蹂躏。而老外们在免费的**面前，当
然自信心爆棚。夜夜做新郎。哪怕自身条件再烂，他们也可以毫无自惭形秽的上去勾搭
，而且成功的几率貌似不低。
作为一个有血性的中国人，看到这些我如坐针毡。以前看到的时候，除了愤怒，还是愤
怒，我不知道我能做些什么来改善这种状况。我曾经一度安慰自己，这些只是少数人的
行为，他们不能代表整个中国女人。
但是最近当我在大街上亲眼见到老外搭讪国女时，我从那个家伙的眼里看到了那种轻佻
的态度，那种放松自信爆棚的做派。似乎他们对于自己的搭讪是否成功充满了信心。
他们根本没有那种局促感，仿佛跟国女搭讪，是一种恩赏。
当然这一期让我突然意识到，也许那些个被他勾搭的女人确实是烂人，烂到了比妓女还
不如的地步，因为妓女好歹要收钱，而这些外发女人不要钱。可是对于那些个老外来说
，他们不会认为这只是那些个女人的问题，他们只会想：

accept those anyway because COI rules, which right now has a national
clearing house for the COI rules (you need it to apply NIH grants). Maybe
your institute is not part of the clearing house, and those companies are
targeting you. All the one I got are raffles. My old lab formulated/tested
Invitrogen RT-PCR reagents, and my PI cannot even be officially invited to
their luxury box for the Charger game.
