政府如何合理分配教育资金有关。如果没有SCA5的事，估计老中们是没兴趣去参加这个
会的。
到会的很多白人似乎是各学区的管事的（当然可能也有普通老百姓）。他们问的问题都
是与政府税收分配教育资金以及考试改革的问题。他们也是带着很多问题来的。他们估
计也没想到会有这么多老中出现。
在后面自由提问时，有四个同胞针对SCA5发言，讲得很好。Rich Gordon的回答应该说
是支持亚裔的立场的。他觉得政府应该加强做好需照顾族裔的K-12的教育工作，而不是
在大学录取时分配比例。他理解硅谷是high tech的地方，是需要真正的本事的。但他
也说他要弄清楚这个将来在Assembly的投票是party vote还是可以个人决定。不是原话
，大概是这个意思。

共有三个华人，两个老印。
RICH 还不了解这个议案，不过他很注重教育，对我们提出的论据观点都很支持。他支
持早期教育（before kindergarten）和longer school days。
他也说了他不是总是vote on party line.
感觉他很平易近人，观点也很相近，有希望争取。
我的主要观点是：
－ UC已经有9％的政策了。他知道这个。
－ 按RACE是不公平的。我们来到这里是Minority，所以我一直投民主党，支持少数权
利，包括gay rights，现在我们Minority被Majority歧视，要他支持，不然只好转投共
