Baldy / San Antonio Peak（10,064尺/3,068米）。第一、第三座早已成功登顶，独缺San Jacinto，因其路途遥远，偏处LA东南百里之外，不便当日往返，深存遗憾。此次感恩节假期，一则LA附近数州名胜均已走遍，无任何远途car camping计划可选，二则以前同伴均做鸟兽散，享受二人世界其乐融融。正感叹将不得已客串四天宅男、每日昏天黑地于电脑游戏之际，得知老牛同学振臂高呼同登Jacinto，遂欣然加入。
按计划，我和老牛同学于周五（11/28）晚上卡普抵达Palm Springs，与前期抵达的腐败团队会合，顺便帮某位同学送去他的知心解忧良药。休息一晚后，周六早0830起床整装出发。原以为能从腐败团队中多拉一两人过来壮大队伍，结果遇到他们才知道人家已经玩到乐不思蜀的境界，怎肯跟我们去自虐？所幸另有西西等三位同学远道赶来支援，始凑足五个人，增加了人气。0920吃过Burger |

大部分前往Mount San Jacinto State Park的游客,都是坐缆车上上下下，很多人并未注意到，在苍松翠柏和群山环抱之间，还有一个象世外桃源一样幽静美丽的小镇－－Idyllwild。这里画廊林立，餐馆众多，更是camping胜地，夏天可以避暑看流星，冬天能够看雪看月亮。如果在Idyllwild camping一晚，第二天再去Mount San Jacinto 登高远足，可真是一个完美的周末了。

country，数据大概一共25mi， 8000ft爬升. 如果想上San Gorgonio多加1mi，
500ft爬升. 走完这个再走C2C肯定没啥问题了, 末程度来说，这个比C2C要难因为C2C
不需要x-country.
从Lost Creek trailhead出发， Grinnell's NW Ridge开始， 大概会走16小时.

San Jacinto Peak (10834') 是南加第二高峰, 也可以说是最壮观之一.
John Muir once said that "The view is the most sublime spectacle to be
found anywhere on this erth."
这个峰走过几次, 最近一次是今年六月, 这次是C2C是土豆发起的, 本来没想再走. 但
是我实在很喜欢这跳路线, 从沙漠的风景到顶峰, 享受这每一步爬升的过程, 心血来潮
我就决定再走一次. 土豆队伍凌晨12点出发, 我觉得出发时间太早, 睡眠还是很重要
的, 这次组织懒人队早上3点从TH出发.
另外再招休闲团走Tram to Peak(T2C). 这条路线是最简单登顶线路也是南加风景最好
不过的, 不登顶同学可以休闲地到处逛逛, 吃喝玩乐照相都是一个不错地方. 我听说
tram station里面的餐馆还是不错的, 吃过的同学可以出来说说. 也欢迎其他同学组织

But if you
1) Will only live in San Diego for less than 5 years
2) Has no child now
then why you need to live in a good school district and pay for the
education cost of your neighbors? You child will go to an elementary school
when he or she reaches 5 years old!

Bernado。和Realtor了解了一下，似乎是三个选择：Carmel Valley， 4S Ranch和San
Marcos的San Eiljo Hills。我们有小孩，所以考虑学区。
初步在Redfin 上看了一下房子， 觉得San Eiljo Hills 性价比很好。60万左右可以买
到很好的房子，小学很好，初中还不错，高中对我们来说还比较远，也许10年以后也会
变好，或者到时候考虑私立。不知道我们的想法有没有什么问题。想请问一下大家，特
别是决定在CarmelValley， 4S Ranch 买房的人， 是怎么想的，学区或生活方便程度
有很大差别吗？

给我的学生和家长们。这次贴在这里，也方便一下广大琴童和家长们，还有爱乐者们，
如果有兴趣，有时间的话可以去听一下。
我的记忆中，最怀念的是在中央音乐学院上学的日子。那时候，学校里有无数场音乐会
，国外大师们的讲座或音乐会。也经常会去音乐厅听音乐，因为有很多老师都会有票，
再送给我们。或者买最便宜的20元的票进去，再去找前面的空位去坐。
音乐会，带给我许多美好的回忆和美妙的感觉，在这里就感慨一下了。

的结论是，“San Francisco is better from dusk to dawn, and San Diego is
better from dawn to dusk." 感觉结论挺精辟。搬来SD挺多年的，上次好容易逮着个
机会可以和LG晚上出去兜，却想不出地儿。十分郁闷。
自从上次虎蜜先生发帖以后，我就觉得好像混本版的大部分都是家有小孩的70后。可能
大家都对从黎明到黄昏的活动非常了解。这里想向高人请教一下从黄昏到午夜的活动。
特别是离我们中国人聚居地4S和CV不太远的地方的活动。实在懒得每次开车到Gaslamp

Lakes Elementary School 可以, San Marcos, 92069 的Palomar Elementary School
不错, San Marcos,92078 的Discovery Elementary School 和 San Elijo Elementary
School 都可以. 其它的小学就一般了.
LZ可以到www.greatschools.com 上查学校的分数.

大叔大妈婚龄两年半，幼儿一岁半，非搬运的大妈婚后应大叔要求辞工，至今无业，但
用婚前积蓄付了全部的首期房款及装修款，并支付每月的MORTGAGE和PROPERTY TAX．
房子在两个人名下．大叔工资不高，但支付绝大部分的家庭生活费用．从生孩子上产床
时开始两人产生矛盾．去年十一月大叔偷偷找一SAN DIEGO工作后分居，男方支付每月

main feeder schools to SMHS are from San Elijo Hills and Rach Carrio which
are really mid-upper class families and relative new residential community.
And to be honest, City of San Marcos and San Marcos School District have
been doing great jobs compared with other north county cities, like Carlsbad

错的选择。在san marcos里如果想住好区，可以住san elijos hills, 是个很不错的社
区，缺点就是离高速较远。如果想离高速近， 可以住78沿线。我就住78沿线上，感觉
很方便，唯一不方便的就是san marcos 离中国超市太远了，你从LA来，可能最先感觉

之家有3岁小孩。目前存款12万，感觉San Diego这个薪水只能在4S ranch买个
townhouse或者Condo？但同样的钱，比如50万可以在Fresno的顶级学区Clovis买个豪宅
了。
另外，我们不是IT之类的专业，在San Diego另一半工作机会少，Fresno双职工的可能
大点，但San Diego的天气真好，大家有什么建议吗？谢谢。 |

SAN DIEGO –Qualcomm announced Thursday that it began a round of layoffs
this week across the company.
The move comes as the technology giant has dealt with a large drop in
revenue and net income. In July the company said it would make cuts to save
around $1.1 billion. At the time CNBC reported the personnel cuts would

就是这个交通 outweight 环境优美。买那片的人是最不可能去
Los Gatos 的。

接小孩的话，不感觉远很正常。
