高中。greatschool 上scarsdale高中学生家长的评论反而不怎么样，米犹多竞争激烈
。greenville的高中比Scarsdale 在SAT方面肯定低，但学生家长评价倒挺好的，大家
都很开心。greenville的房子也比scarsdale便宜。所以考虑greenville多过scarsdale。

scarsdale很大，有些地方根本不算scarsdale学区。 如果你看楼主其他几个地方的平
均收入要低很多。你住在那里只会担心攀比压力太大，绝不会担心邻居穷的。

SCARSDALE的房子是临近学区的，买房的时候要确定。 |

发帖数: 4005 | 6 纽约周边看了一圈，最早锁定short hills，觉得学校好，但是房价太贵1.5米以下的房
子都没法看，进城上班不方便，抛弃之。
然后去看大颈，最初觉得上班方便，学校好。后来觉得华人犹太人太多，小孩上学竞争
太激烈。房价比short hills好一点点，1.2米左右与short hills1.5米的房子有一拼。
然后去看了Jericho，觉得很不错，学校好，房子便宜，800-900K就相当于short
hills1.5米的房子了吧。上班也比short hills方便很多，周末去flushing也不远。但
是最大问题离高速太近，似乎没有town, community的感觉，不够decent。长岛还有一
个问题就是觉得住进去就出不来了，被困在里面。
最后看了scarsdale，不是scarsdale village里面，是西边一点的greenville。觉得居
住环境挺好，小town很inviting。房价不贵900K－1M就可以搞定了吧，不过地税很够呛
，3万／年起跳。学校似乎没有前面三所好。但是看评论，似乎里面的学生家长都很满
意。上班比较方便。

edgemont和scarsdale在一起统计的，
2013年，两高中五百多个学生，上藤校和Standford,MIT的37个， 约7%.
而且录取率14%的康奈尔占了三分一强， 五大藤占了十一个。当然不错了，
顶级open enrollment的公立，基本就是这比例。

Tenafly是棒子地盘，而且交通太烂，bus上班而且还超级远。 scarsdale和great
neck都是一小时以下d2d。Tenafly得90分钟。 |

scarsdale sat高也是有原因的，那疙瘩的米油都是米油中的贫下中农，上不起私校，
只好拼的头破血流。而且老中kids在scarsdale属于劣势群体，看看每年去藤校都是啥
人就知道了。
Tenafly交通确实烂，90分钟不至于，70-80分钟吧。但是那个破路还坐bus，真的很蛋
痛啊。。。从nj坐bus来nyc上班的同志都是真的勇士。还是俺们的lirr坐的舒服:) |

不过scarsdale亚裔比例虽然只有10%几,旁边Edgemont学区的亚裔比例却达到了25%.我
觉得这个比例刚刚好.相比之下,great neck和Jericho的亚裔比例40%+和30%+反而太高,
是个minus.
我原以为Edgemont高中毕scarsdale差很多,没想到不但不差,居然排名还略靠前.加上火
车直达grand central,小区环境优雅,对我来说,Edgemont已经轻松beat任何一个标题里
列的区了.

公寓周围环境很好，生活极为便利。以前是父母小孩都在这里，所以租了这套房子，但
