加加拿大国庆日大游行。
游行队伍将从乔治亚及博洛顿(Broughton)街口出发,沿着乔治亚街走到布辣(BURRARD)
街后左转到西喜士定街(West Hastings Street)结束。

最近就有几个朋友问了我岛上餐馆的问题。
其实旅游区的食物好起来真是有限，只能锉子里面拔将军，推荐几个我个人觉得还可以
的。当然仁者见仁，智者见智，也希望别的有经验的朋友前来补充阿~~
1，Joe's Crab Shack google地图上的定位标记大约为3502 Seawall Boulevard
Galveston, TX 77550
这家的特色就是吃螃蟹（都是老外喜欢的大肉蟹）外加服务生时不时闻歌起舞。先选螃
蟹种类，然后选烹调方法。我觉得grill的味道不错。店里比较热闹，这么蹦蹦跳跳的
餐馆年轻人比较喜欢，去的时候看到好几次年轻人过生日，店员还会出花招搞怪，气氛
很是热烈。
人均消费25-30左右
（注：他家最近在装修，不过已经装修得差不多了，估计圣诞节新年左右能开业吧。不
知道有没有新张优惠呢）

在61街近Seawall的地方有一家比较好点，还有一家在61街和Braodway交界的地方（好
像是Ground吧）
西餐Buffet有那家Golden Corral，在Seawall上，61街略往西一点
Cici Pizza也是buffet,在61街上
在东面有另一家pizza buffet,位置大概是在8街和seawall |

多，是在损失无数钓组后才算摸清基本状况；最近那里在大搞基建，准备把它建设成
seawall 最大的 fishing pier； 估计以后就不那么容易占位子了。
61街，最热门的pier； 特点是比较适合钓鱼，哈哈；缺点是人多，垃圾多，稍去晚点
就没位子；
37， 也不错，不过没尝试过；
seawall，最东头，沿着 channel，无数的老墨在那里； 鱼没有seawall多，但是有大
家伙；
坐轮渡过channel，传说中17街，houston多少的中国人在那里体验到钓螃蟹的“疯狂”
，可惜就是等船时间现在长了点，再就是那边的jetty，比较长，我拖家带口过去，比
较麻烦，也就很少去了， 哈哈 |

今天起了个大半夜，为把当家的拖去诊所，麻倒做检查。
我在等候室侯着，呵欠连天，估计这家伙麻倒后顺势继续睡，一个多小时后，小小等候
室坐的人开始多起来。
我这种年纪的人，小时候脑门子会吃指关节敲打，在公众场合坐着，手脚不敢张扬，进
来一位中年妇女，在我旁边坐下，中间隔着一个座位，脚伸到了我脚边。一个哈欠到嘴
边，我赶紧捂嘴。
这位，我居然认识，或者说几天前刚刚有过远远的一面之交，地球真小，或者说半小时
的车程距离真小，她是我未来的邻居！
在决定买新居前，我做了些功课，习惯性地会搜索周边房价，紧邻的她家，必然少不得
多关注一下。这家房屋正在市场上出售，差不多比别人家多出个“0”来，小桥亭榭，
看得我满心欢喜。
第一次看房子时，发现院子里有来历不明弃石数块，比磨盘还大，形状不一，后来做房
屋检查时，检查员也心生疑惑，瞧了半天，指着她家很新的seawall说，看起来，这些
弃石就是旧的seawall。

在Galveston，沿着海边有条滨海大道，叫 Seawall street.刚去可考虑到那附近活动。
1, 垂直和seawall street相交的路，以数字为编号，可考虑从61街，沿着海岸往东北
走；，有家体育用品商店， Academy，那边可以买license， 以及各种渔具。
2，钓具：竿：7’ 左右的 Shakespeare® Ugly Stik， Medium， 6～15 Lb， 或
者～20Lb足矣。买个combo带个轮子，基本ok； 让店里给你把线缠好， 15Lb。 钩子我
当初买的是Eagle-claw，差不多2#， 还是3#忘记了； 再买点坠子， 1 Oz， 2Oz， 各
来几个；看水情，风平浪静，1oz， 浪大，坠子重点； 绑法就是 坠上钩，沉底。bait
店你问小二，岛上有4～5家，死虾，鱿鱼均可。
2，钓点：从61街开始，沿着海岸线往东北走，会有很多Jetty伸入海里，可以尝试。
最近德州热死人，估计也就早晚了。 日落时分，jetty上沉底钓 sand trout，whiting
