标 题: 帮我看看这个offer letter,没有列sick leave

刚收到正式的offer letter，有 4 week vacation和12 天 holiday，但没有sick
leave。是不是很奇怪？ 难道是生病的时候用vacation time？ |

攒个几年sick leave是常事，最后算工龄退休工资啥的都可以用
所以媒体时不时报导40来岁就可以退休拿全额的警察消防队员。。 |

是short term disability的收入，和之后的california family leave收入，保险公司
发给我的w2表，表上16. State wages, tips, etc.这项跟box1的一样数目。问公司hr,
hr说要pay federal tax, might not need to pay state tax, ask tax advisor. 我
问了tax advisor,说w2上16是全额就是要付的，我就很难过的付了（真的有点难过，休
假的时候大家都告诉我这个免税）
可是最近看加州的EDD,不是说third-party-sick-pay不用付州税么？
已经过了报税期了，还是希望可以弄清楚，如果错了还可以要钱回来不是吗？
有经验的请回帖或站内信给我，谢谢了 |

晕药都没用；小飞机从来没敢坐过，应该是会生不如死的；自己开车基本没事，坐别人
开的有可能会晕，尤其是减震特软那种。
但是，我们非常向往去Alaska旅游，看了很多本版的游记，更是渴望能去一趟。所有我
能找到的游记都有坐小船或者小飞机的项目或需要，而这些是我们绝没可能参加的。
恳请各位有经验的YDJM给推荐一条适合Motion sickness“患者”的Alaska九天旅游路
线。万分感激！！！ |

感冒三天，今天在办公室关起门自娱自乐地咳嗽喷嚏了两三个小时，终于
决定不再祸害公司列位同仁，早早回家将养病体。
进得家来，半仰在“太师椅”上，忽然发现自己成为一家老少各种attention
的中心，很是洋洋得意。老妻、保姆跑前跑后、端茶送水，丈母娘坐在一
旁调兵遣将、指挥若定，连家里那位日理万机的teenager也从百忙中抽空
下楼来亲自关切了一回。但最关切最甚的，当然还是即将五岁整的小狼女。
俺到家时，她小人家正穿着新买的连衣裙在镜子前面臭美。因为俺一向晚
出晚归，很少这么早回家，小狼女大感惊诧，上来就是一个大大的hug，
然后就不听劝阻，奋不顾身地挂在俺脖子上再不下来。
整个下午，小狼女非要跟俺挤在一张小沙发上，喋喋不休地分享当天的见
