simulator opted is AMS. Basically, I have two main blocks to be simulated.
One is written in verilog code and created as a functional view while the
other block is drawn in schematic using foundry's cells. Thus, it is a mixed
-signal simulation and AMS simulator is chosen.
When I simulated the config view of the above circuits, I got thousands of

courses are available in pretty much every university, in or out of IE.
Easiest thing to do is to read winter simulation conference.
s.ross wrote a book in simulation, but I personally do not like it. But
because his presence, Berkeley is an obviously good choice.
The systems engineering institute at U Maryland is pretty good and has some
quality people doing simulation.

record（1000次simulation合一起），10几个variable。昨天test了100次simulation
（也就是16万个record），只花了半个多小时。昨天走前设成1000次sim一早来程序还
在慢慢爬。问问先进是不是因为sas到了瓶颈了。 我的机器Q6600 2G RAM， winxp.
想着改写成个loop 让sas一次simulate一个 dataset 1600 个record,应该会快。不过
还不不清楚sas里怎么实现。 用别的语言的话在一个loop里面run就可以了。
R的话类似
result<-matrix(...).
for (ndat in 1:1000){
...
result[ndat,]<-...} 就可以了
用sas的话 datastep 或者procedure怎么在loop里面实现？是用macro吗，哪位大虾给
个意见？

一般来说,给定一个分布(如weibull),可以使用monte carlo方法来
simulate 这个随机到达,然后计算这个simulation的confidence.对吗?
现在我的问题是给定分布和某个simualtion的confidence,
要求产生这个simualtion,这样做可行么?如何做呢?

TCP, or UDP)的packet 的loss, delay。这种是很微观的simulation.
如果想做很宏观的simulation比如在flow level, 比如只关心link capacity 的usage,
available bandwidth, 多少个不同的connections, 网络上traffic的动态的情形(一
些new flow come， 一些old flow finish),或者是动态的topology(some links are
up, and some links are down), 能用Ns2 来做这方面的simulation吗？
好像很多人自己写discrete event driven simulation来仿真。

促，不过
还是来乘没忘，谈谈感想。
以下的总结基于我今天的考试，不一定有普遍性，请大家只做借鉴
1：考题比例和特点：
第一章corporation 是重点，有几个比较难的概念题是关于这个的。题目太绕
绕，记不
清楚了。其他这章的都不是很难，做BERKER的题基本就够了。对自己比较含糊的地方要
再仔细看
看，考官很聪明，考基本的，也考大家比较含糊的。
第二章题目比较少，不过也是考理解，比如考到哪个包括在GDP里，他考的是THE
INCOME
APPROACH， 不是我们比较常用的那个。CPI的公式，两个关于 EQUILIBRIUM PRICE 的
，不直
接考，绕着问。还有三个关于hedge的，有两个比较简单，一个彻底傻眼。
第三章考的比较多，有几个特别难得，berker 没有类似的。IRR的题目好几个，主要还
是概念的理
解，比如IRR 和 NPV的关系。可能有几个比较难的，记不清楚了。不过还是要加强对公
司借钱，或

8月份考68分,当时准备不充分,连选择题都做的一般.
然后边上班边看书,就是没找SIMULATION的练习看看.结果考试出了瞎猜就是瞎猜,完蛋
了!!

一个最简单的Monte carlo simulation问题，百思不得其解。
假设有一个data set，里面的数只由1和0构成，我们要找出其中1的比例。现在用Monte
Carlo simulation来估计这个比例。
第一次循环，如果采到的是1，那么variance就是0了，再算the coefficient of
variation,得到的是0. 这样的话，这个simulation在第一个循环就停止了。。。再看
采到0的情况也一样。各位大侠，帮我看看我错在什么地方？ |

一个方法分析一下，看得到的parameter estimation的结果和原先在simulate里设定的
parameter差别大不大。不大的话，这个分析方法就可以认为不差，whatever，基本就
是这样一个思路。但统计里还有一个东西就是monte carlo simulation,最基本的就是

自己用的方便的simulator,到用时，分析其他东西时，在上面加东西就好了。对了，
PLO 的模拟程序应该和holdem 差不太多吧？从头写太麻烦了，特别是postflop 的分
析。当然要类似pokerstove的速度， 比较快了的。
俺这老爷爷也很久不写程序了，现在天天打牌/罐水 也感觉没多少时间。有个现
成的架子
就方便多了。 这里这么多鬼谷的大牛， 和其他ＩＴ牛人，给俺指点一二吧。 对了，
问个土问题， 如果现在学C#/.net, 现有的c code 可以直接嵌 在 c # 中吗？ 或
者用C# 写个UI, 这个UI 可以直接call 用c 写的code 吗？ 总觉得做simulation, 还
是用c 好些。 请 fryking 等.net guru 略指点一二。

抽到两个research？ Simulation抽题的难度和前面mcq做的情况有关系吗？而且
simulation中7到题只有6题算分，这1题不算分的是随机抽，还是最高／最低分不算？
如果有两个research，是不是有一个就不算分了？ |

发帖数: 80 | 50 I reckon it is a common problem when running mixed-signal simulation. You
are lucky not to have it. Your CADENCE support people probably has taken
care of the setting.
It has something to do with the name mapping. When case-insensitive names
are mapped into a case-sensitive name space, it cause problems.
Since you don't have any difficulty running mixed-signal simulation using
AMS simulator, please could you do me a favor to check you .cshrc file
because the solution may be just there.
