发帖数: 231 | 1 搬进来一个多月了，最近才有时间搞清楚水表的位置，然后发现水表一直在走，home
warranty的人来看过，说是water softener有问题，drain pipe一直在不停的排水。今
天又叫了一个plumber过来看，说是整个water softener太老了，要更换，给我推荐了
一个，要4000多，是hydro-quad的，和我的旧的water softener一个牌子的。是不是太
贵了？
想设置成bypass，可是一旦设置成bypass,开关附近就有点滴水，现在也没有manual,不
知道怎样能把drain pipe关掉？ 我把电源都关了，可是water softener还是在工作。
有没有办法能把water softener完全关掉？ 在网上找了半天manual,也没有找到。 |

too expensive? They claim that it will take a whole day for the installation.

如果你自己能买到water softener，自己装，至少$400起。问题是每个water
softener的接口可能都不一样，你要确信能买到同样的。如果这个water softener
是只卖给contractor的（大多数好的品牌都是这样），比如kinetico，culligan之类，
$1000朝上。
water softener要么一直用，要么by pass了一直不用，什么叫没怎么用？ |

后一个月不在,发现时Water Softener已经发臭,估计整个房子的水管都污染了,不知是
否换掉Water Softener和打开House里的所有水龙头排水就可以把污染驱除?担心管子里
被污染,会有细菌残留,影响以后的水质,不知这种担心是否多余?有什么可以彻底清除那
些埋在房子里的水管的方法?有没有处理House水管清洁的公司?怎样检测家里水的质量?

personal property。所有的fixture默认都应该留下除非特别说明。water softener和
purification systems (比如你的RO)，绝大多数头脑正常的人都认为water softener
和purification system属于fixture，除非额外说明。比如这个网站上：

你的realtor真烂啊，什么都不懂。你得和她的老板，也就是她的broker写信。她的

Efficiency Water Softener
如果加上过滤功能，可以升级到Infinity Whole House Filtration and Conditioning
Systems，这个出除了有软化功能还能为整个房子的水提供过滤，不过要多付$1000
我做了一下研究，这个过滤还是比不上专用的厨房饮用水过滤器，主要过滤气味，氯气
，有机物等，过滤不了重金属。不知道值不值得投资这个？市场上类似的东西大概多少

买的bayer的，中午喝一次，晚上喝一次，第二天就拉了好几趟，肚子微痛，不过还好
，医生说要是拉稀就不能再喝了。
所以我现在基本stool softener要长期吃的，排便还算正常，这个镁乳就停了。 |

时拧得太紧， 把一个垫圈拧断了 。
给设备提供商 Ohio Pure Water 打电话， 他们很快就给我寄了一个新的， 而且那个
人说安装的时候给他打电话， 甭管啥时候。
打电话给装softener 的plumber, 他倒是没推脱责任， 不过说得12月7号以后才能来。
今天我又看了一下， 觉得自己能换上。这能有多麻烦？ 大不了我再买一套新的。 又是礼拜天晚
上， 也不想麻烦别人。
换的时候，得把bypass打开， 然后抱着大罐拧开， 因为里面有水， 拧的很辛苦。
拧下来， 问题来了， 得有一个人给我擎着， 把抱娃的LD请下来， 给我举着。
根据说明书， 换上的垫圈要摸上一种专用的润滑油。 这种油得无毒，这大黑天的我上
哪里找这个去？ 后来LD还是牛， 说用香油。 智商啊！要不人家怎么当年GRE能满分呢！
抹上香油， 然后用手拧紧，然后用扳手拧45度， 说明书说90度， 我觉得45度多一些
就行。
最后， 把水阀打开， 一切正常。 感觉一下， 水不那么硬了。 |

说到时候plumber会直接装pipe把水引出去。

Bypass的时候没有漏水，但一旦在service，the steel stainless bypass valve 就会漏
水。漏水的地方就在steel和塑料交接的地方。（如附图所示）
