发帖数: 723 | 2 今天参加了本地的一个小型半马，也是自己的首半马，成绩为1小时35分17秒。这个成
绩在跑版来说实在很一般，不太拿的出手，也就不发表报告了。
作为资深潜水员+酱油党，今天主要是想和大家介绍一下ITBS Release Surgery。本人
跑龄不长，两年半，速度不快，受的伤不少。跟腱炎，应力骨折，和ITBS都得过。相比
来说，受ITBS影响时间最长。但班上一般的都是关于拉伸的一些内容，从外面复制过来
的。作为过来人，我提供一些个人的经验。
从去年一月开始，先是左边中招，后来发展到左右都有。先是完全停跑，见PT，拉伸，
每天也有用form roller。但是效果都一般。两个月后，依然只能跑3mile。后来实在是
忍受不了，见医生，在建议下左右各来了一针可的松，但是两周后在一次器械训练中，
右膝ITBS再次复发，而且更加严重，走路都能感觉疼痛。再次见医生，医生给出两个建
议：再来一针可的松或手术。我比较幸运的是我的医生也是我们学校体育队的首席主刀
医生，这个手术比较少见，但是他也做过很多次，而且就在给我动手术前，他刚好给他
的同事，另外一个医生动了这个ITBS的手术，可谓是手感火热。

发帖数: 615 | 4 4 month after my ankle fusing surgery, I went( sneaked) on to court and hit
some tennis with my tennis buddies. Played a few doubles games.
God it feels good. I was able to hit some serve, some FH. Mostly, I still
have the volley. Love it!!! I am alive !!!
Going to see my surgeon tomorrow for a follow up w/ X ray. Hope she will
grant me the privilege to play tennis to some degree. |

first guess was flea medication...
but we haven't put Java on any flea meds (I wanted to wait till he gets
older) and the vet said he's a big boy
(5 months @ 9.89lbs) but he's very fit and not over weight at all.
A healthy enzyme level should be 0-85 but Java is 198. ~>-<~ Will bring
Java for a second visit in a month to
check on his blood results, the doc said there's a chance it might just go
back to normal.

Many factors may cause PGY-1 vacancy. People may quit after 2 months because
the program is not as they expected or the surgery specialtiy is not as
they expected. People may also be fired due to some reasons. In such case
the program have to find someone else to fill the position immediately. Such
position is exactly same to what you get through match after half year
struggling, except that this start now |

due to violation of work hours. they spent over a million dollors to reopen
that program. At that time, RRC was using Yale to show its determination of
reinforcing the 80 hr work week rule. a lot of FMG were able to get in Yale'
s residency due to that, cause no body wants to joint a program on probation
. I think the time is totally different now, it would be very hard FMG
forto get in such a prestigious instition

preliminary positions. Every year, there are so many preliminary spots went
unmatched.
However, this dose not mean that IMGs have a good shot in this specialty.
Actually, many programs meant to leave these positions for unmatched AMGs to
scramble in. They do not interview candidates for these positons! This is
why there are just a few IMGs got in, if you look into the statistical data
carefully. |

Regarding to the PS, personally I prefer to focus on how well you like
surgery. If you eventually end with some advance program, it's always easy
to find a desitinated prelim position. |

. Additionally, I will add Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and
general surgery in his list.
Prelim surg is relatively easier to get by match. But during the scramble,
it will become very hot as well, and you will have less choice or control.
So if I were you, I would apply earlier.
The disadvantage of prelim surg is that, usually it has very heavy working

doctor? If you just want to be a doctor, doesn't matter what kind, or really
interested in surgery. Should go for it. The biggest problem is the P
programs in most NYC or other metropolitan cities are designed for cheap
laborers (they can hire less nurses), you have to do a lot of nurse work and
even 护工 work.
The percentage for switching P to C in same program is low (less than 30%
usually) |

as P is one of the easiest program to get in if your USMLE score not high
enough.
The advantage for you is that you know how the system work and most nurse
work you can handle. Not sure your preffered final specialty. If IM, most IM
interviews are a couple of hours, can be in the afternoons. If you got a P
in NYC, you will be able to visit a lot of programs.

人的时候,如果一天送3个病人上手术,那就是搬至少3次.一般新手术后的病人都有点忙,

了好多中国顾客，所以招聘中国护士。。。
HOME CARE AGENCY， 在家附近1迈，培训1一个月，之后小时工薪 30/h...自己觉得好
处是可以接触患者，熟悉基本技能。。。
两家小时工资一样。。。PLASTIC SURGERY 过了培训期3个月，可能哟高出10 刀。。。
但觉得路会很窄了。。。
选哪个呢，兄弟姐妹们说说吧。。。集思广益：）

take place during open heart surgery, because some patients may go into
shock or cardiac arrest, and that's when the body produces a lot of uric
acid and lactic acid which will cause cellular damage.
