USICS网站上说"if required"，有B1/B2还required吗？后面说的apply to CBP for

两周了，我提醒系里说如果我的J结束了，虽然由于J有grace period我还可以在境内再
待一个月，但是这时候再提交H visa就不能在美国境内拿到H visa，而只能回国，再从
中国签了。
系里秘书说没这回事，等J visa失效了再提交H visa申请也没事，只要我人在美国不离
境，就可以一直等着，直到拿到新的visa。我记得之前在USCIS网站看到过相关条款，
一时又找不到了，请问有谁确切知道这个条款吗？是不是如果J失效了，再提交H申请也
不能从美国境内拿到H visa了？哪位如果看到过这个具体条款，能否给个链接？非常感

家共享：
1.申请transit visa不需要担保人，但temporary visit visa需要（担保人需是日本公
民或在日本工作２－３年以上的，另外在美的F１学生要担保人，H１不要）;
2.你不能选择办理哪种签证，是领事馆决定给你transit还是temp visa;
3.transit visa一般只是说一个晚上，超过一天他们会要求你申temp visa（我说４天
，她让我申temp）;
4.Visa fee: transit ７刀，temp ２９刀;
5.机票和酒店reservation即可，不需要正式的;
6.我问是不是transit给１５天，她说no，要根据你机票和hotel以及day to day的行程
来决定;
7.纽约市外的可邮寄办理。
准备试一下，给他们４天的行程，没有担保人, 碰碰运气看他们给不给transit visa... |

其次，Visa读卡器都是中国生产的，这种低技术终端很容易被盗号。损失的还是Visa公
司。
最后，Visa如果还是坚持进入，如果真有人盗用别人卡，谁给你抓罪犯呢。总不能指望
公安白给外国公司干活儿吧，又是损失。

VVQ减免激活费用2块，不知道除了买卡的支出、激活费，使用时还要交什么钱么？
2，vanilla visa gift card,买2个省5块。面额好像是50+，不知道相关费用的情况，

错了。于是打电话给客服问可不可以棒我apply1500刀的offer，客服让我先去申1500刀
那个visa，然后再打电话cancel 4000刀的visa。
于是我就henchihenchi申了1500刀的visa，结果又instant approve了，这次是是gold
visa，而不是visa signature.打电话回去另外一个克服说不能cancel已经approve了的
卡，让我拿到卡以后打电话cancel。
我现在想，hard pull都已经产生了，cancel掉多亏阿，好歹拿15万mile。大家觉得是
这么个情况么？。。但是要花好多钱阿。。。。。。 |

本来一方面是冲着Visa Signature申的。
是我credit score太低申不到Visa Signature吗？

我用FIA卡代替Visa GC买相同的东西能拿到2%。我来给他的算式做点校正。

你四个样本，三个样本都是chase独家，怎么说明"所有visa信用卡的汇率用的都是visa
卡组织的费率",唯一有三个银行那家的，我的数据没有错误，都是官网数据。你的算法
是：原始非美元消费金额×visa入账当天汇率 约等于 账单上入账的美元金额，注意约
等于，你的四舍五入。
我已经说了你的逻辑的问题：
1. 你的四个样本中三个最多只能说明chase接近visa，不能说明’所有visa信用卡的汇
率用的都是visa卡组织的费率‘（我就不说你”所有“的问题了）
2. 唯一可能说明事情的那个数据，我已经说了，我的表只有一项是我算的，其他数据
都是官网和账单直接copy，你的算法都是四舍五入。注意外汇四舍五入是很容易出错的
，因为本来外汇兑换率就变化不大，其次，消费金额不大。其次你的逻辑是只要有误差
就是四舍五入的错，你要知道银行不一定按四舍五入来计算，抱歉。
3. 用小样本，还是不同地点和时间数据下结论是危险的
4.你太看重下结论了，并且会自我强化自己的结论，例如这句”至于c1那笔，没有原始金
额，但是你可以从计算出来的汇率看，四舍五入的结果肯定还是一致的“，证据都没有

prepaid card那个卡有两百的，但vgc只有50和100的。所以就选择了visa prepaid
card。在target买了张target prepaid card。拿到walmart去买mo没有成功。第一次直
接认为是credit card。第二次我很快按了取消键，让输密码。输了卡的后四位。结果
说debit is unavailable。看来这个卡不能买mo。
想请问有人用过Target Visa Gift Card买mo吗？可以吗？谢谢！
另外，walmart的mo从0.7涨到了0.88。不知道是不是系统也改了，所以买不了，还是
target visa prepaid card从来都不能买mo。 |

My old passport has already expired. My visa to travel to the United States
is still valid but in my expired passport. Do I need to apply for a new visa
with my new passport?
No. If your visa is still valid you can travel to the United States with
your two passports, as long as the visa is valid, not damaged, and is the
appropriate type of visa required for your principal purpose of travel. (

个人情况，现在是F1的VISA，计划明年3月份毕业答辩，距离上次回国已经2年了，美国
VISA于一年前就过期了，目前I20的有效期是到明年5月。目前已经有job offer，但OPT
还没开始申请。
1. 如果2012年1月份回国renew VISA，那新的VISA的有效期是到I20的截止日期（05/20

VISA也是OK的，我的理解对吗？我的疑问主要在于，我是想在OPT刚开始但是还没有正式
入职之间的空隙回国，不知道这与普通OPT全职工作期间回国有没有什么差别？

发帖数: 1250 | 40 在版上的精华区和帖子里搜了半天，也没找到想要的答案，希望有经验的人指点一二。
我的case是F-1 VISA已经过期两年了，准备3月份去德国开个会，开完会直接回国renew
F1 VISA。在身边有些类似例子但申请非德国（如法国和荷兰）申根VISA成功的同学那
里得知只要出示回国机票和行程即可。
但是，搜索了半年貌似发现德国使馆的要求较他国要更严格，于是想请有过在德国DC使
馆F1过期成功拿到申根的人分享一下经验。德国使馆网页的VISA F&Q也明确说了需要
Valid US VISA，不知道我这种情况是否依然会要求那么严格。
现在比较急的一点，是我基本上把机票和旅馆，包括回中国的机票和旅馆都订好了，如
果德国的申根VISA出现问题，改行程就会很麻烦。

4. 德国使馆不能当天给你申根VISA，给我签证的VO是第二天帮我们办好，然后第二天下午给我用USPS的快递邮寄出来的（交了$18的邮寄费），周三上午签的，周五下午就收到了，当然你也可以选择自取。

我的H1 2014年9月要renew. 但是我想2014年1月回国首次签H1 visa stamp，然后2014
年底去别的国家。 现在我想不明白会是哪一种情况？谢谢了！
1）1月回国签visa stamp，给我一年多次往返。我在14年10月重新renew H1之后，年底
去别的国家回美还需要重新签证。

在 Form I-129被approved之后，必须去当地US consulate申请H-1B visa吗？
USICS网站上说"if required"，有B1/B2还required吗？后面说的apply to CBP for

求版上高人，我和LG刚在美国登记结婚(他B2过来领的证） 因为办绿卡的原因，现在打
算回去签H4 再过来，因为我们结婚时间比较短，况且他又是B2过来结的婚，我怕VO会
为难他不能顺利拿到签证，所以计划回去陪他去签证，顺便也看看家人。知道我们需要
都填DS-160 约到同一面谈时间， 问题是我的H1b visa stamp 是去年底才签的，一年
有效，我并不需要一个新的visa stamp 回美，这种情况下我再约 H1b 签证会不会不合
理， 有没有负面效果，另外如果真签能不能要求VO不给新的Visa stamp， 因为需要尽
快回来上班不想等visa, 汗！
