no cash. aftter I busted out from event 54, I played rio daily deep stack, $235 buy
in. 1050 participants and i got 13th for $1900. I also play 1 $550 ME
satellite and two single table sit and go, no results. That's all the
tourneys i played. In terms of cash game, i only played about 1.5 hours 1/3
game at rio and down about $50.
overall, i didnt play much. cash game tables are tougher than before (

415行动镇压之前，FTP和PS这两大网站每年都要送上千的门票，无数玩家靠卫星赛,
cash game进入本来难以负担的10K高额buy-in。
作为WSOP这个品牌的拥有者和比赛的举办者，Caesars(原来的Harrahs)集团，虽然是收
益者，却其实只分到了蛋糕的一部分，甚至可能只是一小部分。

interesting. Getting some insightful poker idea from guys like Phil.G,
jungleman , annette_15 etc in person could be quite helpful. I attended a
seminar last year given by Howard Ledger and Annie Duke, did learn
something interesting.
Annie said when you are losing and somewhat tilting on a poker table

我过去两年多，算是全职打poker, 大多是online. 盈利还算可以，online 也相
对比较稳定，我没有输的月份。但的确远没有达到预期，最大的错误应该是画在学习，
提高的时间太少了。 本来希望打nl 400 rush 积累一些bank roll和经验，去打大的
game, 可惜来了Black friday.
我觉得我的纪律性一般，虽然打多了好一些，但也不时有on tilt 的时候，特别是
打heads up
时。 不tilt 太难了,只能逐渐提高。 很多人讲，online poker 最重要的因素，就是
控制tilt. 不无道理。

我看了下，都没有在我的州，都得跑去参赛。
每个wsop circuit 都含十几个event，最后一个event说了是可以拿main event的资格
的。
可以直接参加circuit最后一个event，争取资格吗？还是要参加一个循环赛中的所有
event才行，一个一个打到最后event才行？

min 3-bet with suited connectors all the time -- they all know that. And
calling a min 3-bet OOP with SC is fine given that they got 50BB stack and 1
to 4.5 odds. It is much better than calling a 3-bet with ATo, since with
that you never know where you are even when you pair your ace.
Personally, I think it is so obvious that X at least got a straight.

bet pre, 然后不管hit 没hit到flop都是c-bet，我倒是从他那里赢了一些钱，因为每
次我都很有牌。我朋友就输了好几次给他。一次是他拿2 pair on a straight and
flush board bet and got raised by my friend on the turn. my friend had the
nuts flush.he snap called and rivered a full house. The second time he
shoved on the flop with flush draw. my friend flopped two pair. three way
pot. He hit the flush. It was a big pot. 总之，看他打cash game和他打

来说说体会。
同一桌子还有其他professional,我的感觉，职业牌手跟业余的最大区别就是把池子做
大的能力和弃牌能力。业余的一般看到大池子都是舍不得fold，总想去拼一下运气，看
到未成手的牌又不敢去raise,职业的在fold和raise 上基本要大胆果断得多，一次
raise没成功，下一把补牌没上来就弃牌了，职业牌手的打法，在某段运气不好的时候
，会输得挺多，比如冠军，曾经输了一个all in，但是他re-buy后很快就打回来了.
经验，re-raise的威慑力比直接bet一个大的数额大多了，想使诈最好等这种机会，使
用这种策略。连续3次跟call,基本都会让对手忌惮不敢下大注，然后river后的raise,
比较容易逼迫对方弃牌。前提是你要确信对方没有拿到nuts. professional 打牌绝对

绝对的职业玩家高手，某届WSOP冠军，玩牌赢了上百万奖金。
这种人能带来一批职业牌手一起玩，很刺激，发现完全不同的打法，我开始都被吓住了
，观察了好久才敢开始跟注。
其实职业的也没想象中神奇，输起来一样厉害，他们不同的在于绝地反击的能力，其中
一个人，我看他打了几场，最后都是大赢的。其实我的保守打法短期挺克他们的，长期
也是肯定被灭的。 |

table of those fulltilt guarantee (11k, 32k, etc.) ones a few times.
the more i play, the more problems i find on myself, and realize how bad (
and lucky) i was playing a few months back... even my father in law, whom i
taught how to play a few months back, now plays much better than me and
won 1k last week, lol.

reasonable plausible way for me to ever show up in WSOP main event.
I found the structure of the steps very attractive, namely giving you more
chance to reclimb the ladder, and the fact that ppl are not familiar
satelite STT's (bubble strategies are different). hopefully with all the
rich fish/donks the competition is softer than usual as well.
my plan is to accumulate say 10 step 2 tickets using the FPP's and try my

1) direct buy into it, $10K+entry. they run 4 registration days (1A, 1B, 1C,
1D), you can register and play on any day 1, then the survivors go to day
2A, 2B... this year is interesting, because many guys waited until the last
day, 1D, to register and found it had been sold out for that day, while day
1B only got ~800 players registered (max 3000 players/day). as a result,
poker veterans like TJ cloutier, who has played EVERY WSOP main event since
1983, got shut out, same for big |

those sharks for amatuers. you're simply out-bankrolled, and it will affect
your play/emotion big, which adds to your already weak skills (compared to
pros').
there're many smaller WSOP events, like $1K hold'em, which is more
affordable. |

event, they're just more financially affordable to amatuers who want to
taste WSOP without losing too much.
event 4, $1500NL Hold'Em, which melonli played, attracted 6800 players!! and
it's the biggest non-main event field ever in history, AND, under current
bad economy.
NL Hold'EM got so popular and evolved hugely in last 10 years, amatuers like
us might actually get a slightly better chance by playing those 2-7 low

That buddy who gets 2nd on wsop main event 2005 even has a note in his
pocket, he reads it out: do not involve unnecessary pots, pay attention to
the payout structure.
I guess I will do the same. Payout structure can change your game a lot.
And good players can take advantage of it, and good players can steal a lot
of pots in that situation. Sometimes, you will see chip leader will repop
