现在被带孩子生孩子耽搁住
了，估计等两个孩子都带到能离开手再读书，毕业也得三十四五了，不过到时候绿卡倒
是肯定拿到了。
对美国就业情况不了解，不知道三十奔四的黄脸婆拿个硕士加绿卡能不能找到工作啊。
有人批评我还是国内的旧脑
筋，认为年轻小姑娘，新鲜毕业生好找工作，说美国不一样，很多女人为了带孩子要不
就是毕业之后有gap，要不
就是三十多才开始自己的career。初来乍到，我哪知道这边到底什么情形，但也不敢拿
自己试啊。。。。嗨
周围的外国女人们都安心地跟家带孩子呢，生了一个又一个，年龄比我小的没几个，我
也没好意思问他们以后还打
算不打算工作了，想工作的时候还找的到吗？呵呵，也许人家手握当地学历加上生孩子
前的工作经验不发愁日后再
就业。
最近想想自己今后的发展，总觉得心里发空，主要还是担心年龄问题。刚来美国两年，
对这边的情况不了解，请大
家帮忙指点指点呢

CPA frim 应该很忙吧，不知道你工作后孩子怎么安排，都可以大到送daycare 了吗？
还是有父母帮忙带带？

which made the CPA firm want me, not only accounting.
I had 4 year gap, and my kids grew old enough to go to daycare during those
4 years.
I never asked my parents to take care of kids for me. During my interview, I
told every interviewer that I have two kids. One of them mentioned
sometimes I can work from home. I work to make my family enjoy better life,
not for anything else.
My goal is not to work for CPA firms forever, but to g | y****o

我也不同意"学会计就是好找工作啊"人云亦云的说法,虽然我学会计,没身份,也找到工
作了.每个人情况不同,背景不同,其实给自己定位最重要. 无论如何很佩服你, 一定很
优秀!加油!

. 自知没那么好的条件，就更努力些，也是有机会的。 | y****o

语言和与那些客户群工作过的经验。
当然我在开始选专业就是因为会计可以用到自己的语言能力和积累的business方面的经
验。如果IT什么的，需要与客人打交道的少，用不上我的语言能力，business的积累人
家也不在乎，因为毕竟我没有business的degree。
说这么多，是想说在选专业时要对自己有很清楚的认识， | y****o

人云亦云,听说哪个好找工去学哪个,其实不适合自己的,今后也未必能达到原来的期望

As a two kids mom, it's a struggle to work for a public CPA firm.
After less than 4 years, i decided to leave. Anyway I got my license done
and built my resume with big 4 experiences.

本人, 去年在美国一个不入流大学会计硕士毕业, 年40岁差两岁,以前没学过会计,毕业
前却拿到一不大不小美国 accounting firm的offer. 同去面试的,有小我十几岁的同学
,有做过几年会计的.不过,我GPA很高,全A一个B,但好像人家也不在乎这个.
所以,个人运脚不同,没有定论.
每人都有机会,努力吧. | s********1
