Sorry that I know very little about iphone, so any suggestion is welcome.
A friend in China asked me to buy an iPhone4, but a guy in apple store said
every iphone sold in the US is locked. Even if there might be some way to
unlock it, it may not be usable in China.
So the question is, what would be the best suggestion to my friend. Is it
worth of the risk to buy an iphone here and then try to unlock it?

at ebay. Is it safe to buy those and are they usable in China?
