engage感觉很明显。这个机构和中国自行车锁的原理是一样的,和一些二想象中的用变
速器和发动机刹住车完全是两回事。

is allowed to engage abruptly when the brake is released. If you drive a
car with an automatic transmission, you have probably felt a slight movement
in the car before the parking gear engages when you park it on an incline.
With enough force due to gravity on the drive mechanism, the pawl can wear
down or even shear off..." | y****3 发帖数: 778 | 4 someone just never give up.
1st you need keep in mind that the car is designed with parking brake, that
means the park mechanism is designed as a backup device, it is not suppose
to be used daily as primary parking device. so if you use it this way, it
will worn out very quickly and lost its function. also when it is under
stress, it will require a huge force to shift it out of P, that will put a
lot of stress on shifting mechanism, and again, this part is designed with
parking brake, it will break prematurely.
2nd for some model, especially those with rear drum brake or with rear
integrated disc/parking brake, the parking brake need to be applied
regularly to let the brake self adjusting mechanism adjust its gap, failure
to do so will make your rear brake less effective.
at last but most, READ YOUR MANUAL!!!!!!!! all manuals will require you to
apply parking brake, end of discussion. |
