This is what I have. Works well for me.
OBD II blue tooth reader. Brand is ELM?? EML?? forgot. ($20 or a little more)
Install "Torque" in your android pad ($5). OBD send the code to your pad
through blue tooth, and Torque reads it for you. Torque does clear the code
too.
