rear brakes, of any kind, are generally not very effective.
for rear disk brakes, the system is biased to put less braking
force on the rear through a proportining valve (in
order to avoid fish tail). Consequently, you rarely find
performance pads for the rear brakes, and they tend to have
smaller, single piston brakes in the back.
Rear disk brakes are likely to make a difference during sustained
braking where the drum would have failed first.
