这个发现不属于现在的实验室研究方向。 没法全力做这个课题。 现在我有意申请 R21
grant. 版上有没有同学申请过？
TMD现在要是能让我自己fill time做这个课题， 不给我付工资我都愿意干。我都想回
国去找个实验室自己做了。 |

，但是博后或者学生肯定不能申请。如果是博后的话你可以考虑申请 K99 grant。希望

are eligible for NIH grants, you can apply for R-series of grants and serves
as a PI. You can ask your PI (if you are paid on his grant) to be a co-I. |

lower than R01, and you only get 2 years of limited funding.

convince the reviewer. Although I am not sure what we can do with the new 12
page limit, it should still be the case.

department agree. However, the chance you get awarded is very, very low. |

independent RA is almost 0, unless
you can provide strong evidence that your project is completely different
from your PI and you have the
necessary resources (lab space, technician, etc.) to complete the project if
funded. You'd better try some
private foundations.

发帖数: 243 | 12 非常同意你的看法。 现在申请课题是非常困难。权当是死马当成活马医。 试试再说吧
。 以前我对科研一直抱有很大希望， 但是运气非常背。 我还是那个我，现在突然之
间，运气来了。 做什么有什么， 而且自己独立发现，独立进行的俩个课题都有了完美
结局。原来已经彻底丧失了科研的兴趣。现在比以前任何时候都有passion. 不试下以
后会后悔的。
今天刚得到一个结果，非常的运气。 绝大部分的疑惑都有了答案。 一个 short and
amazing story已经全部有了答案。 我卖瓜的自己认为这个结果应该是能发到 nature
或 science上的。 这个结果拿出申请 grant 的话， 还是很有分量的。 现在的问题是
先发表这个结果再申请还是等申请材料交上去以后再考虑发表？

to present your preliminary data. If you have your data published, you can
just refer to your publication. |
