了一下，感觉可以变得更creative，就是要花些时间。发在博客中，也在这里借人气

Fancy and artistic backsplash can be very expensive. If you are tight on
budget, try this one. All you need is paint; no tiles involved.
The first thing you need is a particle board.
Cut the board to size and sand the sharp edges and corners. (有图片)
What I did was an about 3-foot high and 10-foot long piece. Make sure that
you leave some grout space between the fake tiles – normally it’s ¼
inch wide.
Undercoat the board with eggshell paint. Try choosing a neutral color, such
as darker gray. (有图片)
Find a tile size you desire for patterns and draw around the tile to create
a pattern on the particle board. (有图片)
Now it’s painting time! You need really thick paint and a flat, square-
ended artist’s paintbrush.
Push the paint out to the edges of the drawn tile lines. Repeat the process
on each square pattern. (有图片)
Pick a different color to alternate the pattern. (有图片)
Once you are done painting, leave the board to dry for at least 48 hours.
The paint is very thick, so it may take longer to dry. When it dries, you
need to apply high-gloss enamel over the paint.
High-gloss enamel will toughen the surface and imitate the glossy finish of
glazed tiles. The background “grout color” should be left unvarnished. (有
