2, Acton is closed to Boston Downtown. In case, I will look a job for myself
later.
BTW, I work in clinical reaseach field. There are more job openings around
Boston area.
What else make Acton is better? I have friend live in Andover.
Right now, I don't think westford is good choice for us, since it is outside
495 and high school is so so.

Due to work change, we moved to south, with a great school #10 (national
rank: 1000)
This is another move for us due to job this year, so, we are looking a great
school with a reasonable house price (with 2 full bath).
We don't think Lexington is good choice for us, as price is so high.
We can't afford 1 millions house right now.

发帖数: 1347 | 17 lakewood elementary, Robert Frost Middle School, wootton high school, all
are blue ribbon schools. The neighborhood we used to live, town house in $
600,000, SFH for over 1 million
Those are good schools. But, I have friend/neighbor still put her daughter
at private school, moved to a 2 million dollar house after lived in that
neighborhood for over 10 years. They are rich family, bought a grand piano
when the girl was just a newborn. They think private school is better, with
that price tag.
I have a friend, lives in Cambridge, MA, 2 millions dollar house, send their
girl to private school, also.
We are just middle-class, try to find a good school for our kids, nice house
for our family. | w**m

How about Harvard? Bromfield ranks #149 but it's outside of 495.
Westford high is not that bad. It's ranked #795, still within top 1000.
Personally i think the differences in these ranking are so small and all
schools in the top 1000 seem to be the same to me.
