With the increasing availability of better image sensors and proliferation of cameras, the use of cameras in human-computer interaction and passive surveillance have become problems of great interest. We are interested in the problems of gesture recognition, user activity analysis, facial analysis and tracking people using stereo or depth camera based techniques.
We are looking for candidates who:
- recently graduated from (are enrolled in) PhD/MS programs in computer science or electrical engineering,
- have research experience in the areas of computer vision, image analysis and pattern recognition,
- have hands-on programming experience in C/C++, and
- have publications on CVPR/ICCV/ECCV
The tenure is up to 1 year for post-docs, with possibility of extension, and 4-6 months for interns.
