It gives a list "Pre-foreclosure"(316), "Auction"(56), "Bank-Owned"(132), ...
Please remember a lot of bank-owned properties are not on the market.

requirements, such as school district, # of bedroom, price range, year
built, you will find far few available choices.
I have 3-4 friends looking to buy on NW suburb and with their requirements,
their choices are actually very limited.
There are news stories, and there will be different stories if you really
look into it personally.

realtytrac网站上查得没放出来的房子30万以上只有9个,其中还有的比较老的平房,好
像放出来对市场也没什么影响.虽然房子走得不快,但也说不上是买方市场.问下不知道

[1] Phase I:
Banks withhold foreclosure properties, control short sale prices.
Supply: non-foreclosed properties.
Median sale price goes down about 10% a year.
Last 2 -3 years
[2] Phase II:
Banks withhold most foreclosure properties listed at $300,000 or higher;

[3] Phase III:

During phase II and III, banks control the supply. The lenght of them

A white family lived next house. The husband lost his job about two years
ago, then divorced and moved out a few months later. Last summer, he mailed
his ex his
personal bankruptcy document. That wife moved back to her hometown with her
three kids to live with her parents. Now, that house is owned by a bank, but
I do not find it online. A light in the house is always on.

Comparing other major cities, Chicago economy is one of the worst. After
last Oct 2, this is very obvious. Thus, RE is the worst in the nation too.
