CHICAGO — Two armed robbers stole from multiple passengers on an Orange
Line train Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The incidents occurred between the Roosevelt and Halsted stations on a Loop-
bound train at 4:15 p.m., said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman, and
Tammy Chase, a CTA spokeswoman.
The robbers announced they were armed and stole various items from multiple
people, Zala said.
The CTA is transferring any video footage it has over to the police
