Job Description
Company Introduction
The hiring company is a small, Pre-A stage startup in Silicon Valley. They
are developing hardware and software solutions for autonomous systems
include cars, UAVs, and robots. The company is backed by major venture
capitals and just received funds for mass production of their products.
Support H1B and Green card application.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art algorithms for depth-
sensing, visual odometry, SLAM, and camera calibration. You’ll be
working closely with our world class Sensor Fusion experts and directly
impacting the next generation of self-driving vehicles and UAVs.
Qualifications
o Masters or PhD Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
or both.
o Deep Experience in visual odometry and classical computer
vision algorithms
o Expert knowledge in computational geometry
o Experience in machine learning, feature detection and
classification
o Experience with open source computer vision and linear
algebra frameworks
o A solid background in statistics, probability and linear
algebra
o Experience with real world datasets
o Experience with real time algorithm implementation
o Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Preferred
o Experience with CV algorithm packages (Eigen, OpenCV, etc
.)
o Knowledge of Deep learning techniques applied to CV
o Experience in Linux based environments
o Experience in SLAM and/or motion planning
o Experience with CUDA, OpenCL or other GPU frameworks
o Experience with automotive systems or UAV systems
