Reasons why it’s heavier than Jerry’s bike when I am using full RED
grouppo: 1, Token C30A wheelsets have 30mm deep rim, weigh 1667g, 227g more
than William 19 wheelsets, which is1440g, because it’s using 19mm rim,
light but not so aerodynamic than a deep rim wheel.
2. Giant is notoriously making “GIANT” frames that the ML frame I am using
is comparable to 57mm frame that weigh at about 1130g, and it’s a 2007
version. Jerry’s bike frame is under 990g I guess because of the size and
also larger weave? 3. The Specialized tires I am using are for training, not

take some times in research, study, know the specs, price, read the reviews
, etc. You have to have some bike specific tools to do that too. I have Park
tool AK-37 tool kit so basicly except headset overhaul or wheel building/
major truing, I can comfortably do anything on my bikes. And also when
custom build a bike you can choose the parts you like instead of the stocks
from the brand bike you bought. I spent all winter looking everwhere for
good deals, first the frameset, then saddle, wheelset, bar, groupset, pieces
and bits. You do need to determine the frame specs first before anything
else, like symmetric/asymmetric headset, BB30, BB90, BBright(only cervelo)
bottom bracket, and if braze on FD is possible.
To sum it up, it’s easy and straightforward to assemble the parts together,
maybe FD adjust takes some trials and errors, but it takes time to source
the parts and read all the articles/reviews.

build一台竞赛用车,hengmei2给了一个protocol包括了几乎所有的零件。实际的build
和那个protocol大概有80%的相似度,你还可以搜到那个帖子。
我有一台用了两年的车,依据那辆车的零件尺寸,再加上我骑行的感觉,做了一些调整
,知道了新车零件的大致规格尺寸。
然后就是四处寻找deal收集零件,这个过程最长,有一搭没一搭地,搞了大概快三个月。
最后把车送到车行里去装配,花了180块人工加spacer/seatpost collar。
SRAM 1070 Chain也是被机械师宰的一刀:他说我买的二手SRAM Force PC-1091是用在
compact上的,装在standard crankset上短了,于是给我装了个70刀的1070。没办法,
象我这样换个brake pad都会screw up的机械白痴,正是被宰的首选。

bike. The shop may not lie to you. It depends on chain stay length, also on
number of front large chain ring tooth and rear large cog tooth. Two of my
bike chains use 106 links and another one uses 108 links.

and upgraded to pc1091(R) series? I am concerned about this as I have both
1091R and 1090 chain installed on two bikes.
