We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer in a Client/Server
environment. This individual will have:
Excellent knowledge of QA Principles and Software Development Life Cycle
Excellent knowledge and working experience in writing test plan, test
execution and test results analyses.
Experienced in the Software Engineering process, involved in the
creation of Software Requirements Specifications, test plans, and technical
documentation.
Strong self-starter who learns quickly and easily grasps new technical
concepts. Highly proactive. Works well both independently, and as part of a
team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating, updating and executing of functional test plans.
Testing enterprise level Client/Server application installation, smoke,
functional, acceptance, load, stress, performance, volume, regression
testing.
Reporting and validating software defect reports.
Installing, configuring and managing of test machines.
Writing VBscripts, JavaScripts or C# Scripts
Assisting the Technical Support team, as required
Skills and Experience:
Required:
4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Worked with scripting languages.
Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Good understanding of basic software quality assurance concepts.
Experienced in the Software Engineering process, involved in the
creation of Software Requirements Specifications, test plans, and technical
documentation.
Basic familiarity with SQL Server, VBScript, JavaScript and any
automation testing tool, VMW virtual machines.
MS Windows 2003, MS Windows Vista, MS Windows 2008, Windows 7
Experience testing Windows-based client / server and desktop products.
Expertise in UI, Integration, Functionality and Performance Testing.
Good debugging/troubleshooting skills exhibiting extreme attention to
details
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Document Management Systems
Programming experience in C, C++ or C#, test automation tools, previous
experience testing scanning, imaging, or document management solutions is a
plus
