the remote debug tool is cool also...the only problem is intellij uses
a lot of memory...sometimes it's slow
曾经考虑过如果换公司还接着玩java,自己买个intellij license:)
只是简单参加过.net training,不是很熟，也许用一段时间会改变看法:)

the .net hype has been there for 2 years, and nothing yet.
give it at least another 4 years before it indeed becomes
a significant rival. meanwhile good luck for find a .net job.

I think JBuilder and Eclipse are ok.
But Netbeans is too bad.

intergration. code generation and its reverse side work not very well.
JBuilder enterprise works better.
Borland C# enterprise architect may be a good choice. But I haven't tried yet. |

support. Although I wish it could have the ability to add
variables/functions in the structure view like in VS.NET, but

2. Eclipse refactoring facilities are not as complete as IntelliJ IDEA,
which also tightly couples with CVS.
3. IntelliJ has better window arrangements and auto close features that
don't take too much space.
4. It tracks everything, such as imports (so you know which are used and
which are not necessary), variables (class, instances, local). H

The most important part of Eclipse is it's just a framework. You have source
and the whole framework is configurable. You have source of framework, too.
I may agree 3, 4. But not 1, 2 and 5. :) Eclipse is more open and you can do
anything you want.

I can't make JBuilder faster. But I can make Eclipse faster.
You can delete all the packages you don't want to make it faster. And you can
configure the starting packages. I made an small IDE for our research using
Eclipse.
Eclipse is really a great project.
