标 题: 十万火急问被裁的问题

本人明天会被通知被裁，具体term现在不知。下面是我的大致情况：
H1b 到今年１０月满６年
I94 ２０１１年１０月到期
PERM audit, 所以劳工卡还没拿到
Single
这种情况被裁可能再找工作做H1 transfer么？ 还是只能转成F1或回国？
十万火急，恳请帮助！！！ |

already. if that is case, you can possibly do H-1B transfer. |

但到今年１０月就满６年了
能麻烦你解释一下为什么做H1 transfer还可行行么？

发帖数: 218 | 6 i think valid h1b beyond 6 years is based on pending/approved L/C, or
pending/approved I140. So even if you find a new job, you still need to
file new perm before your 6 year is up. |

Looks like you don't have enough time. To renew H1B beyond 6 years you need
to have LC application pending for more than a year. But, it seems you have
less than 6 months.

2009, you still have chance. I have the experience similar as you. |

发帖数: 9684 | 11 Actually, if you didn't submit the PERM by Oct 2009, a year prior to your
H1B's expiration date, even if you were not let go by the company, you
couldn't extend your H1B after Oct 2010 and will have to leave the country
for at least a year
