Interview Requirement Effective 10/01/2017
On 09/28/2017, the DHS Ombudsman's Office offered teleconference on this EB-
485 proceeding changes effective 10/01/2017. The teleconference was very
helpful
This time around, the USCIS is scheduling another teleconference as the
direct stakeholder agency for the lawyers and consumers. The date and time
are: October 11, 2017, Wednesday, from 3-4 p.m. (Eastern). Effective October
. 1, USCIS began to phase-in interviews for adjustment of status
applications based on employment (Form I-485, Application to Register
Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), and refugee/asylee relative petitions
(Form I-730, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition) for beneficiaries who are in
the U.S. and are petitioning to join a principal applicant who was admitted
to the United States as a refugee or granted asylee status in the United
States. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

confirm your participation. Follow the steps below :

" Select "Subscriber Preferences"
" Select the "Event Registration" tab
" Complete the questions and select "Submit"
