邻居家漏水到我家,地毯湿了一大片，邻居只是请人做了简单的干洗，现在地毯干了，
但是有明显的水渍，打电话也不接，电邮也不回，看样子是要耍赖了，打算请律师，应
该请哪种？

（1）地毯被损坏。
（2）墙体被浸水。即使水是从下面进入墙体，也会慢慢向上方向浸湿。
搂主只注意到了地毯，其实那是小事。墙体问题会影响你房子的价值，如果你不告诉将
来的买主，一旦买主发现后，你不但要承担责任（赔偿），可能还涉嫌欺诈。墙体问题
一般需要请专业公司烘干。请专业公司的目的是你可以永远摆脱责任（你如果自己烘，
再干也没用）。
以上两项，理所应当对方承担费用。还有，生活上带来的不便，对方也需要进行精神补
偿。 |

忘了说对方是把房子出租了，根本不住在这里。

I am sorry you have not been able to reach me but my new cell phone went
completely dead on me Friday evening and would not recharge. No one
could get in touch with me. I have had to order a new phone (due to the
insurance) which will not be in until sometime this week. I spent most
my weekend with my daughter at the Urgent Care Medical Center with an
emergency or I would have come by your Condo. I have not spoken with my
roofing inspector as of this morning. I hope to hear from him today at
work. I will check with my other half and see if we can meet at your
Condo Tuesday after work to look at your carpet. Let me know if that is
convenient for you. |
