Team sources told ESPN's Ed Werder on Monday that quarterback Philip Rivers
re-injured his sprained right foot in the season-ending 24-21 loss to the
New England Patriots on Jan. 14. The injury is severe enough that Rivers
will not take part in the Pro Bowl Feb. 10 in Honolulu.
According to the source, Rivers would not have been able to play in the AFC
